Semi - Ethical Way to Use Expensive Softwares For Free

Hey WF,

Had a funny thought a few minutes ago...figured I would share it.

Expensive softwares like PSD, Final Cut, etc - I thought of two ways to maneuver around the price points.

1) You can just keep the program running - and after the free trial ends you can keep using it, so long as you don't exit out of it.

(auto-updates will eventually end this)

2) Sometimes you can uninstall the software then get the free trial again. That has worked for me with final cut.

It was probably because I had a different user_agent (browser, IP) the second time I downloaded the free edition.

If you are in a pinch though - and ever need to "swerve" around a price point these are two semi-ethical strategies for doing so.

Obviously, your best bet is to just buy them. But I remember how it was when I was first getting started. So this is probably applicable for some.

Had another thought... it ran away from me.

Oh yeah, PSD recently added a different payment option that I noticed when I went to get the latest version (6) -

Apparently, You can pay monthly as if it were a service instead of dropping $599.99 On it.

3) Also - If you are a Student and you can verify it you can also get 20% of of Adobe products I believe like PSD, after effects, etc.

Talk Soon,

-Justin
