Aww!

I just got this pic from Minnesota and thought I'd share it.

His first time being held by his big sister. Look how much he's growing and changing.

Ha! Looks like he got his Nana's nose.:p

Before you know it he'll have zits and his voice will crack.

Great picture. How old is his sister? She looks about 4 to me, and she's a cutie too.

      Thanks Dennis.

Zits and voice cracks, haha! He can't even sit up on his own yet.

Oh and his sister Emmery just turned two in April, and yes she is a cutie! Smart as whip too.

She already knows her alphabet and I mean identifying all the letters by sight also, the same with her numbers through ten. She even can count to ten in Spanish.

Hehe, she uses her Daddy's iPad more than he does. :p

Here's a quick video of her counting in Spanish earlier this summer.

She's my youngest granddaughter's age then. She looked older than Lucy, so that was the basis of my guess, although I almost said 3 instead. She does sound very bright, but the link to the video comes up with an "unavailable" message.

          Sorry about that.

I noticed if I was logged in to my facebook account, it showed for me, but if I log out it doesn't.

Just another thing to show my techie tartedness haha! :p

Can you see it now? I'm logged in at the moment.

          Thanks Dennis.

No, but it's probably because I don't currently have a FB account.

I'll take your word for it, lol!

This is my bimbo area I guess, as HeySal likes to say, certainly not my genius one for sure.

Beautiful! Congratulations again. My toddler turned away from his toy cars and stared at the photo with a big smile on his face.

      Aww, how cute.

Your little guy is about Emmery's age, right?

I've always found it very interesting that my little ones loved to look at pictures of other little ones, more so than any other type of picture.

Have you noticed it with your son, too?

I've noticed it with my kids and now with my grand kids.

That is totally the case with my son. He pointed to one then the other like he found treasure and said, "Baby! Toddler!"

ever day he does some thing where i am like .. WOW that is awesome...
followed immediately with the thought ... and you cant go on the potty yet.

Ah yes! Potty training seems to be the last thing they're eager to learn and conquer.

Maybe it's just not as brain stimulating as numbers, letters, shapes and colors are to them, lol!

    I love my dog.

Looks like a healthy kid, Terra.

Little kids don't have a long attention span. They don't go to the potty well not because they don't "get" it -- it's just they often don't notice that they have to go until it's too late and their little bodies aren't conditioned to controlling the urge that well yet. So they have accidents. Doesn't mean they aren't intelligent little guys.

      Well, who couldn't love Ricky?

What? Kid? No grand rug-rat? :p

Oh my, I never meant to imply the long process of mastering potty training was indicative of lack of intelligence at all.

If so, Ken, TB and I couldn't talk about how smart our kids/grand kids are.

      Thanks Jody!

They're working diligently on it. In the meantime, we do Skype, but it really just isn't the same. You can't hug, cuddle, kiss and spoil via Skype.
