Continuous WF Page Loading

Before I begin fidling with my modem is anyone else experiencing this on the WF?

Pages will seem like they load but according to the browser it's not fully loaded and therefore prevents me from doing certain things including clicking things in the navigation bar and usernames.

It's been this way for the past 4-5 days using any browser.

Just me I wonder?

I'm having this issue at home, but not at the office. Strange.

      Thanks!

I've tried everything now and no doubt given that others are experiencing the same, it's a forum issue.

Yeah, I've noticed the same thing in Firefox, just over the past handful of days. Pages seem to fully load, but the little 'page loading' circle at the top of the browser never stops spinning. At first I thought it was a FF issue, as it seemed to start about the same time that FF15 was released. But the WF is the only site that it does it, so I dunno.

Everything appears to work normally in IE.

That confirms it's not a browser issue. Your running Firefox, I'm running Chrome, same non-stop loading problem.

I've been having the same issue for the last few days, running Google Chrome (are you also running Chrome?).

I noticed that the browser keeps trying to load cdn.warriorforum.com/... whatever cdn is?

    The pages never stops loading.

cdn: content delivery network. So putting on my entirely amateur techie cap, it seems that all of the content (those buttons to be clicked and whatnot) is not being delivered.

Mine does that sometimes. I just run crapcleaner and dump all my browser history and it fixes it. A few pages still will continually load and I just hit the red arrow on my search to stop it.

I reported the problem of pages not loading completely to WF helpdesk on 8/31.
The response I received was that they could not duplicate the problem, that no other WF members had reported the problem, and that I should contact my Internet service provider for assistance. My ISP said there was nothing wrong with their service or my equipment.

Because the problem manifested itself in three different browsers, and because I could find no other website with any similar problem, I concluded that the WF is messed up, and they have not yet figured out why. It'll probably get fixed sometime soon, maybe.

I'm glad other people are having this problem. (You know what I mean hopefully )
I use Chrome and am in England so no way is it anything to do with ISP.

Anyway I am sure they will spot these couple of threads now and realise there is some sort of problem.

Same problem here across IE9, Firefox and Chrome. The Warrior Forum Logo never loads and part of the subscribe header box. Been like this for the past few days.

Everything is back to normal, the pages all load fast (running Chrome).

Whatever changed here on WF fixed the problem (page loading forever....), I didn't change anything on my end.

I still have the problem but instead of
    'Waiting for cdn.warriorforum.com'

    the status shows

    'Transferring data from www. google-analytics.com'

      Try:
      1. Close all browsers
      2. Run CCleaner which is free (clear cache, history, etc....). CCleaner has a paid version but the free version is all I use.
      3. Login to Warrior Forum

Just a note, I had been running CCleaner for the last week & the WF pages still kept loading forever... apparently something changed here on WF, all is fine now.

It's not just the WF - I have had to run my crap cleaner before Youtube videos work without freezing up, too. It's extremely frustrating. I find closing FF, which activates my Better Privacy pluggin and deletes the Super Cookies (LSO cookies) also works well.

Seems that the problem has nothing to do with the WF.

  • I have noticed the WF pages constantly cycling as well for the past week, as if it cannot fully load - interrupting it seems to return it to normal, but it has resulted in some odd pages (ie: one radio button missing, etc.)
