I have been out of the scene for a while due to ill health, but on return I have noticed that URL's and some email address and even some comments have a strike through line right through them. What does this mean? can someone please help...

e.g. just noticed at the bottom of this page BB code is crossed through and smilies are on is also crossed through and Forum Rules - Why?

If there was a problem it's apparently fixed now, because I don't see any strike throughs on this page. If you still see them then it must be on your end, maybe something in your browser settings. Did you try using a different browser to see if the problem is still there?

Also, logging out and logging back in seems to fix a lot of weird problems, especially with Firefox.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

The phenomenon is all through the internet. Our own names on this Page show with a line through them, checked other browsers and they have the same also. It doesn't seem to affect anything (the url's still work) but it just looks strange and I'm intrigued to know why it does it. Thanks for the answer though

Have found the problem, I am running SEO quake and they have a system whereby any links that are no follow shows with a line through it. Thanks for your efforts though, so if anyone else asks the question, remember about SEO quake's option.
