Introducing... IAEO!

Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. My name is Duncan Smith, and I'm a developer.

A bit about my past: I started coding in high school, and fell in love with it. I've been coding for about 5 years now- I was in college for it, but it came to a point for me where I had to decide between making money, or spending it. Guess which way I was leaning?

When I was first introduced to the wonderful world of IM about 2 years ago, I found myself on BlackHatWorld. Initially, I'll admit I was won over by BHW's premium color scheme. Sounds like a sucker move, I know, but I was enthralled by the idea of being part of the "seedy underbelly of the Internet". The appeal of the dark side was strong, and within weeks I was making money. I got into bulk mailing and SMS (read: spamming), and the money was good.

At that point, I remembered all the fun I'd had coding and decided to try to make a living with that. I had moved in with my girlfriend (to whom I'm now engaged) and I had to bring in more income, so I tapped into what I thought would be a gold mine by offering a software creation service. The money from that was good too... for a while. Eventually, as the money dried up from constantly getting ripped off, I realized that it was not somewhere I wanted to be. I was about to give up on IM and go get myself a nice, droll 9-5 when I remembered having come across the Warrior Forum.

So now I'm here on WF, ready to learn the legit side of internet marketing, and to flex my developer muscles once more. I recently got into Android development, and I have an app releasing tomorrow based on a VB.Net software I created a while back that was a big hit- I hope that it'll be as successful in the Google Play store.

I look forward to being a part of the Warrior community, and hope to find a real home in the IM world here. Best wishes everyone: let's make some money!
