The $600,000,000 question.

Hey guys,

I wanted to ask a quick question, just for the interest of personal input.

So my economics professor was talking about billionaires today and how this one guy started making $600M A year, after 4 years of doing whatever he was doing, think it was petroleum or something.

But as he was talking, I kind of went into my own world and started daydreaming about what it would be like to have all of that money. I even wrote a list of the things I would plan to do lol. I really didn't have a whole lot to write though.

But I wanna know out of curiosity, if you made $600 Million a year? What would you do with it, would you be mentally, physically, and emotionally prepared for that kind of income? and will you change your lifestyle because of your fortune?

Well, be nice to have butter instead of margerine, and . . umm . . some comfortable double quilted toilet paper instead of that shiny stuff that skids off your arse.

I expect that was four years of working smart AND hard..and a healthy investment, too. I doubt he spent much time dreaming about what he'd do when he had money.

would you be mentally, physically, and emotionally prepared for that kind of income
Mentally - no stress about paying bills and mortgage
Physically - could afford my own home gym AND a handsome trainer
Emotionally - trust me, I'd deal with it

Would $600 million change my life?

Are you crazy - hell, yes. Only a liar would say "no".

But only a dreamer would spend much time spending imaginary wealth.

    You, you may say
I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one

    Imagine no possessions
    I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
    A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people sharing all the world

    You, you may say

I'd sell the company to someone that could make the same amount and retire. Share the wealth!

I'd handle it. Not even putting a sweat on the brow. There would be a small change in my lifestyle - but not that much. I'd still be doing my rock and gem hunting -- but I'd be able to afford to buy the claim if it were private and the owner wouldn't let me and my website members on it I'd probably buy a lot of land. I'm sure with that kind of bucks I could buy some "gov acres" that are still wooded and primed with crystals and agates.

Well considering that's a hell of a lot of cash, the only thing I'd do with it is spend.

Seriously, I'd have a good go at spending it ALL. Can't take it with you right? And if you making that per year, there is no need to invest it as your making it per year.

Live life, have fun - simple.

Sure can't, but what you can do is set up your children (if you have any) or someone else with some inhertitance and / or do your own bit by donating to charity and depart having made a significant change to someone elses life.

Selfishness is usually simple, but not always productive.

I would help family and genuine friends where I could. I know I could never spend all that on myself. I would pay off mortgages for my sister and parents. I would help my closest friends pay off mortgages, etc so they were more financially stable.

I would donate money to charity...genuine ones I know where the money goes to.

I would buy myself a comfortable house...not too big, just enough room for me and whatever I want.

I would not go blabbing about it to the world either because you suddenly discover a lot of old friends you have not seen for years.

I'd be very ready for it!

I'd invest it in securing large parcels of real estate and with that create environmentally friendly eco systems that support native flora and fauna.
I'd do a massive campaign on promoting these values to infiltrate all communities to value endemic species.
The campaign would give incentives to reduce/totally remove feral species from community areas...etc etc etc..

I'd also donate millions to build local infrastructure for bike tracks and lifestyle enhancers for the community to improve quality of life.

I'd start a program for healthy living and develop incentives for people to do it.

I'd buy out surplus commercial fishing licences and donate millions to developing both marine national parks and develop artificial reefs for recreational and commercial fishing.
I'd donate millions to the scientists to support and underpin this.

I'd do massive enviro clean ups and massive plantings and coastal improvements as well.
I'd donate millions to individual scientific programs to study endangered species.

I'd create support groups to help ALL people develop themselves further in ways they choose.

Of course i'd spend a lot of $$ on me as well...with 600 million i'd ensure I invested enough to make sure I had regular income to more than cover my lifestyle requirements.

    Thats a start!

Well apart from going to a tropical location, with 5 star everything, and buying a beach house, etc l would do this...

Set up a new challenge for myself and either try to develop anti gravity, or the next best thing.

And then find out what is really on the Moon, etc. And before the authorities try to suppress it, l would plaster anything interesting online!

I have heard that Julian Assange, has some UFO info, which has something to do with mass sightings around the polar region? And the US, etc is trying to suppress it, by making up some charges?

But yep, finding out what is really out there, would be nice!

Obviously some of this would go to charity's, etc but not all!

I can't understand someone like Bill Gates that has more than 40 billion, and only seems to spent it on charity based things?

He could set up a space program with some of that money, he could almost get to Mars with it! But maybe he has something secret going on?

Honestly? Invest, open a few restaurants and a bar, donate, open a lot of shelters and search for the poor people and hobos, get them to the shelter and creating opportunities for them.

If I were with that income I would have my self a good booming business, my self moved out of my parents house, a car to drive with a license to operate the thing. My health problems taken care of and my kids would be in a private school learning the real education.

We would be living between the modest life and the lavish life as well.
