The man, Jeffrey Giuliano, was called next door by his sister in the early hours of Thursday morning because she was afraid an intruder was trying to break into her home. Giuliano went outside to investigate, and said he found a man dressed in black with a black ski mask covering his face; the man was brandishing a knife and approached Giuliano in a "threatening manner", so Giuliano fired his gun, hitting the man in the head at least once.

I don't even know what to say about this.

    Crazy accidents are happening these days. Many people are blaming the TV for having a bad influence, especially on children and young people. I don't even watch the news because I am tired of these kind of facts. My only thought is: where are we heading?

    It's a sad story.

    It is possible the kid was trying to break into his aunt's house next door, which is why he wore things to hide his indentity. Just because they were related doesn't mean he couldn't try to break in.
