Zuck just announced 1 Billion active monthly users.

That's 1 out of every 7 people on the planet.

I wonder if he knows about all those fake accounts I have....

      It's probably more than that. There are many people with multiple fake FB profiles.

    Facebook exists because we can now have a group of people 'be our friends' even if they aren't.

    How many of us have facebook 'friends' that we don't even know? Or worse, can't stand to be around in real life?! And yet we accepted their friend request.

    Weird huh. But this is how facebook keeps growing. Most people don't like to be left out. Even if they don't really want to be around some people, the thought of not being in the group of people seems worse.
