What can an iPad do that my notebook cannot?

When Apple CEO Steve Jobs introduced the iPad in January 2010, he said notebook -- which are smaller, lower-cost and less powerful notebook computers -- are "slow, have clunky displays, and run clunky old PC software. They're just cheap laptops." In fact, the iPad competes more directly with notebook than with more fully featured notebook PCs. The iPad holds the edge over typical notebook computers in several key areas, according to reviewers. I know that much only If anybody having more knowledge about this topic please share with me.
