Wso's, most of us on the WF have purchased WSO's before and there's a high chance a lot of us have been unsatisfied with the delivered product because the sales copy was made to sound like 'this is the one you've been searching for.

I've bought in excess of 30 wso's and 28 of them have been pure bogus, no where near as good as the sales copy. But it seems as though WSO sellers are protected more than buyers on the WF, if a seller promises me something in his sales copy I expect to get what I'm paying mu hard earned money for.

I had a particularly bad experience with an apparently 'respected' Australian warrior who's first name starts with [?] and last name starts with [?], I wont name him just to spare his blushes. I bought about 4 WSO's from this guy but they were bogus. He offers a 'lifetime guarantee so i thought there would be no problem getting my refund.

I contacted him and asked for a refund and he didn't even make any effort to reply with anything, he just totally ignored me, even came online multiple times but totally ignored my messages.

I then contacted a mod on the warrior forum, gave him the warriors name and told him the issue and the best response he could come up with was 'i'll try and contact him for you', well I've never heard back from this mod, who I shall also not name.

The WSO's I bought off this particular warrior came up to a total of about $50 which isn't much but to be honest you wanna get what you pay for and I'm not in the business of just handing money to wso sellers without them delivering what they promise.

Needless to say its been a few MONTHS now and I've still not heard from this warrior or the mod at all. Even though the warrior is still blatantly active. I know I'm not the only one to have had these problems here because I've spoke to other warriors who've bought bogus WSO's and have not been refunded.

Why are people who ask for a refund on the warrior forum looked at like THEY'RE the scammers? If someone pays money for something and then don't get what they pay for, they have a right to ask for a refund, its their hard earned money.

From what I've noticed though people just protect bogus wso sellers by saying things like "it was only $7 there's no point asking for a refund" and things like this, I just don't understand how on a forum where we're all supposed to be helping each other mods can favour people who fail to deliver on what they say they will in their wso's its ludicrous.

I guess what i'm trying to say is I hope karma returns and bites EVERYONE WHO PROTECTS SCAMMERS right in their ass. EVERYONE MOD WHO HAS FAVOURED A WSO SELLER in a duspute with a normal member just because they're friends, I hope karma gets you and gets you good. And i hope that the honest wso sellers, who deliver what they say they will and sometimes over deliver eventually outnumber the scammers and under deliverers who at the moment far out number them.

And I hope that this thread does not get deleted like many of its kind written by other warriors I've spoken to have been. And lets work together to expose the scammers on this forum, they don't deserve the money they're allowed to keep for delivering extremely poor products. lets name them and shame them.

God bless.

First things first: The mods do not protect people who refuse to honor their posted refund policies. We ban them. Ask WSO sellers how they feel about getting PMs from me about that issue.

Hint: I don't play games with it.

On the flip side, we don't tell them what policies they have to have in that regard. If someone doesn't have a refund policy posted, we treat it as "no refunds." If they say you have to do X, Y and Z to qualify, you have to do X, Y and Z before we enforce it.

If they don't offer refunds, the issue is between you, them, and whoever handled the money.

Do things slip through the cracks? Probably. We're human, and sometimes too few. Painting that as some sort of conspiracy is just ridiculous.

There's also the problem that, if someone really is willing to get banned, there's not much we can do beyond that. The forum isn't involved in any part of the transaction between you and the seller. We don't have the ability to force a refund. Only to delete the offer and/or ban the seller if they don't honor their posted policy.

PM me the details of the one you're discussing.

Okay so you ban all sellers who refuse to honor their refund policy? This particular warrior is still on the forum today, and for some strange reason the letters of his name have been edited out, I don't understand why.

Perhaps it does sound like a bit of a conspiracy against mods but that's not how its meant to sound at all, I'm just speaking from experience.

I will PM you the details of the warrior now.

Paul, did you miss this line or was it edited in after you saw it?

I bought about 4 WSO's from this guy but they were bogus. He offers a 'lifetime guarantee so i thought there would be no problem getting my refund.
If the first WSO you bought was 'bogus', whatever possessed you to go back and buy three more?

Needless to say its been a few MONTHS now and I've still not heard from this warrior or the mod at all.
Did you not notice the WSOs were bogus within the first 45 days? Because if you looked at them right away and then the seller didn't respond to a refund request, why did you not file a dispute with PayPal?

If someone pays money for something and then don't get what they pay for, they have a right to ask for a refund, its their hard earned money.
Absolutely agreed, providing there was a guarantee offered.

From what I've noticed though people just protect bogus wso sellers by saying things like "it was only $7 there's no point asking for a refund"
Ignore those people. You are well within your rights requesting a refund if a guarantee is present and the seller did not deliver on the sales copy's promises.

And lets work together to expose the scammers on this forum, they don't deserve the money they're allowed to keep for delivering extremely poor products. lets name them and shame them.
You have a mechanism in place for this. If you buy a WSO that fails to deliver, is unworkable, or whatever, you go back to that thread and post your honest, objective review without personally attacking the seller.

You cannot do the name and shame game here because it can't be policed. You need to realize that a lot of people will 'name and shame' and be lying through their teeth because they don't like someone or are trying to get even about something, etc.

      Tina,

Missed that. Thanks. It's been corrected.

With a very few notable exceptions, the majority of people who want to go on what they call a "name and shame" campaign are not victims of anything other than their own egos. Things didn't go the way they expected, but usually did go the way they were promised. They make demands that aren't complied with, and decide the right way to "punish" the person who they see as responsible for their disappointment is to try and ruin them.

Sometimes the seller really is at fault. No question that happens. And sometimes the customer misread or misunderstood something. Those situations can usually be resolved through civil exchange. But sometimes the whole thing is invented by the (often pretend) customer.

When you start talking about 28 out of 30-some products being unsatisfactory, there's a really, really good chance you're dealing with someone with totally unrealistic expectations, and who isn't really reading the sales copy. And they're usually buying all the "$x,yzq per day, with the push of a button" type of offers.

I'm not trying to pick on you, it's frustrating not to get what we pay for, but what I'm about to say may not be something you want to hear ... just keep in mind it's intended to be helpful.

If you've bought 30 WSO's and 28 were bogus, maybe you should take a look at your own buying habits. What keeps drawing you into bogus WSO's?

I've probably bought about that same number in my time here, and only one has been bogus.

That might be worth thinking about.

    Good luck.

You've been a member since February and gone through 30 WSOs. So you spent a couple weeks on each of them and then moved on to the next?

Yeah, stop spending so much money and take action for once.

      Chase,

He could well have been using the site for a long time before signing up. That's not uncommon at all. It's one of the reasons we require people to have contact/support systems that don't rely on the forum.

I only see one comment from this gentleman in the WSO section. For that product, the seller does indeed offer a lifetime, no questions asked guarantee. I've PM'd the seller about it. Assuming that's the one he's referring to, it should be resolved pretty soon.

      travlinguy,
I thought the OT forum was a safe haven from this kind of nonsense.
From what? Reading threads that are clearly labeled and not of interest to you?

In all fairness no one asked you to click on this thread. No one asked you to read it and no one asked you to comment either because your comment is irrelevant and pointless.

How exactly is it nonsense? have you been scammed out of your money before? if you have nothing useful to comment I suggest you just don't make any comment at all. Last time I checked you are not God on this forum.

      Thanks for your contribution.

You are claiming disappointment with over two dozen WSO products you've purchased - yet haven't posted one single negative review in a WSO thread.

That's one thing that made me stop and go "huh"? If you have a problem with product quality you are free to present a reasoned negative review in the WSO thread (not an attack - a review). Why wouldn't you do that if so many products are "bogus"? That's the best way to get a seller's attention to your problem.

        Nick,
Okay so you ban all sellers who refuse to honor their refund policy?
Almost every time, but we contact them to make sure they're aware of the issue and have a chance to correct it first. The only times I can think of when I've made an exception were when someone had tried to blackmail the seller in some way, and used the public scream for a refund (accompanied by lies about the product) as a lever to get what they were demanding.

Not the case here, but it makes for a complete answer.
This particular warrior is still on the forum today, and for some strange reason the letters of his name have been edited out, I don't understand why.
As far as the edits, that's because of Rule #1.

I wasn't aware of this previously, or it would have been addressed in a more timely fashion.
Perhaps it does sound like a bit of a conspiracy against mods but that's not how its meant to sound at all, I'm just speaking from experience.
I rather suspect you're exaggerating a bit, too, to get the attention you wanted for the issue. None the less, I have contacted the seller via PM about this.
