How do you deal with a stressful event

I'm curious to know how people deal with the frustration of starting an online business: the work lag, the the computer issues (like not knowing a web language, and not finding a good wordpress template), people not taking you seriously etc....

When you're hit with bad news do you take a break or try to push through?

I would have to say that the best thing to do is practice Philip.
When you're marketing or doing anything on the internet really, you're going to come across a lot of roadblocks that make you stop, breath, and then force you to go one of two ways. Admit defeat, or overcome them. And if you want to succeed, you know which one you have to do.
After a while, the pursuit changes you. After things get all nitty gritty, you come out a new man. Here is where you find your calmness, and virtue--after the calamity, and after the reward.
I don't see a problem with taking breaks here and there, but in the end it's the work that you put in that yields results.
You can make it through everything if you just put your mind to it.

I take a "rant" break. Will scream, bitch, pace - then go for a walk and get refreshed. I start over again when I get back feeling better. And I did/do this a lot since I am not techy oriented and it's always hard for me to do this even after years.

Yep, the mouse gets a good bashing if things seize up!

The Adobe flash player constantly crashing, has been my latest gripe, and not being able to load an older version to get around it, hasn't worked, (older versions are just gobbledygook, software, that don't do anything expect waste my bandwidth)!

I have loaded the latest update, here's hoping!!!

There have only been a couple of instances where l wanted to throw the computer through the nearest window, over the last almost 5 years, thankfully.

But in those instances, throwing a couple of soft toys around or going for a walk, etc is the best course of action.

But, yeah, the more you go through these annoying times and figure it out, the more self confidence you gain, or more control over this annoying medium!

Just never give up. When shit hits the fan, take a deep breath and keep trying. As much as it seems like outside factors are getting in your way or causing you to fail, always remember that you and only you are in control of your own failure and success.

Yep, has to be harder in an office environment!

You can't clean or defrag your PC, before starting, so it becomes slower and slower.

And if something goes wrong, you can't fix it, and have to wait for someone else, with Admin access to do it!!!

Very annoying, l am glad l don't work in an office!
