They are very smart marketers, it appears to me. I think this is the work of a branding and marketing company whose slogan is: "We exist to make our clients' brands unignorable."

I went to the website referenced in the video and their
"buy buttons" lead to an "email me" link. So apart from
the parody I don't see the marketing angle.

Are they selling branding services" Then where?

Nice share, Ed. I was delighted to write a blog on our website because of this video.
Content that goes viral just like how that video works. LOL.. At first others may look at it as a non-sense video but in the end you'll realize how they intelligently used humor in that video. Half a million views in just a week. Not bad.

I think it's a very subtle attempt to make you visit their real website out of curiosity. I did.

They've just proved they can make a video go viral. That video is doing just that, with our help.

I guess I didn't look that far - I saw their website, and even clicked on a "Buy Now" button and it attempted to open my email composer. I thought it was just a fake website to go along with the video for maximum effect. But I guess, ironically, it's generating real income for them. I just wonder how many people thought it was meant to be a funny video for entertainment and left it at that.
