How to find what time zone a gmail comes from

I use Gmail. I receive emails from all over the world. In the past, I relied on the time stamp of an email and time zone difference to judge where the email comes from, but I don't know from what time the time zone of the stamp of emails are always the same as my own time zone, so I can not determine where an email comes from any more. How to solve this problem?
For example, I received an email:

2:50 AM (6 hours ago)
date: Thu, Nov 15, 2012 at 2:50 AM
There is no time zone difference.

    Email apparently has TWO times. The time it was recorded, and the time it was sent. The time it was sent is ALWAYS the server time, REGARDLESS of where the client is. So you can't determine the zone from IT. The recorded time is JUNK, and I am surprised they even include it.
