Does router alone is the cause for internet connection problem or anything else?

    Hi,

In my experience, not only the router can be the cause of the connection problem.
Sometimes, our internet service provider can be the reason why we have some issues regarding to our connection. In fact, Marita is correct, some of the anti virus can blocked some of the caches. Try to use some anti-virus that is not too strict. Lastly, your ethernet card, if its old or broken, you will encounter some of the issues in the connections.

    Hope this helps.

Is it a wireless router connected to a modem? If it is try connecting your computer direct to the modem and see if the problem persists. If the problem is solved you may have a faulty wireless router.

No, not the router alone. If your screen goes blank after losing the internet connection, this means your electricity has run out. Simply take your energy swipe card to the nearest store to make a top-up payment. Hope this helps
