Youtube BANNED video downloaders???
So I just finished creating a Youtube "video downloader" extension for chrome. I was planning on submitting it to the Chrome Web Store, but I JUST remembered something about Youtube cracking down on external Youtube video downloaders. There was even a petition to allow them or something like that.
My question is: Is this true or am I remembering wrong? Would they allow the app?
PS: This extension is CLEARLY made for Youtube only... in fact that's the only website it works on. So I couldn't submit it as some random video downloader. It's very clear that it's made for Youtube.
