As a Google Nexus 7 owner I've become very used to using a tablet as well as the Android operating system in general. Do you use an Android tablet or an iPad?

And if so, what do you like most about your tablet? The things I like most would have to be the battery life, streaming capabilities, and portability/speed of using the tablet itself.

iPad. Apple still seems like a pretty safe bet to me!

I use the iPad. The closest thing I came to an Android tablet was the Kindle Fire. I was able to root it and convert it into an Android tablet. It became okay after that. But the iPad is better, IMO. I use my iPad mostly as a portable computer and eReader though.

Nope I still don't get the point of tablets for regular folks.

I have a laptop and I have a mobile phone.

I don't need anything in the middle that does the same thing/less than what I already have.

I'm looking to get a tablet; the iPad specifically. There isn't that much of a difference between Android and iOS but the key thing is the apps ecosystem. I want to do some music making while commuting/on the go (in this department, iOS has the best apps for doing this) and I find that a tablet would be much better than a phone/laptop. Also using it as an e-reader is good too, I just find the phone to be too small for me to read on for an extended period of time.

The newest ipad is pretty amazing. The sheer speed of the device and the high res display are pretty hard to beat.

An ipad is handy when you get that itch to go online, wherever you are

In my opinion all Android devices > than any IOS device. However, the new Windows surface is a great tablet as well and very easy to learn.

I've got one myself but it's middle of the road size makes it kind of awkward. Pocket-wise, that is. I've got a Costanza sized wallet that HAS to go in my front right pocket, I flat out refuse to put it in the back. Too paranoid for that. Keys and phone go in the left and now i'm scared to scratch that big ass screen on the keys. First world problems.

I have used both and I'm actually not the really into touch-devices type of person. I have a Tablet operated in Android OS and it seems good to me. Works fine and has lots of games too. However if I'm going to compare it with an IPAD, I'd still go for Apple.

Ipad has lots of tools and applications that are very useful. Also, Android apps are just a copy of what you can see in the app market from apple.

When it comes to pricing, well obviously apple takes pride on their expensive devices since its worth buying and quality commensurate to the price they offer.

I do like having a dedicated ereader. I turn off wifi and battery lasts forever.
