I've got an urgent issue but I really have no idea what kind of response I'll get from Jon Ledger.

It's regarding a refund issue and it seems he outsourced his support (it says so on his helpdesk).... I really wonder if I'll get a response.

Is Jon Ledger on this forum? Does anyone know him here?

It's regarding one of his products which I bought last year.

Lot's of people outsource their support. It does not mean that they will not respond. Have you actually tried using it yet?

Last year? It took you some time... You could at least spell his name right...
That's what helpdesks are for: you ask a question about a product and you get an answer.

Well, the reason it's one year is because it's a yearly subscription thing, and you know being soooo busy, you tend to forget about it, especially if you haven't used it much. And you have so many other things on your mind.

And then you get reminded of it when you get billed one year later...and then you go, damn....wished I had canceled earlier.

I have sent a ticket, but you know what I'm thinking...technically I have no grounds for a refund?

But hey, don't most internet marketers give refunds or money back guarantees? I don't have any use for the product, and got other pressing monetary issues at the moment.

Sorry about getting the name wrong....

If you're talking about a xxxwaylinks subscription than I can't tell you that your refund is not going to be granted. You can read that on the site. Yes marketers offer a money back guarantee, but if you were using the monthly service for a year, you can't expect a whole year's refund like that.

No it's not the waylinks thing. It's a standalone product of his, its a ***WizardPro...but it's a yearly subscription thing....just happened to forget all about it, and then got a hefty bill today....

I think that's the problem with buying too many IM products, I certainly did...

Edit: Ok, I've been refunded by him.....

One thing you should do is routinely look at your "history" in paypal for subscriptions.

If you pull up your paypal history (basic search for "subscriptions") for a year you might be surprised to find more active subscriptions you forgot about. If you do, cancel them through paypal if you don't want them. I check mine every now and then just to make sure the only subscriptions active are ones I want to continue.
