What is the best way to generate traffic for a link

I am searching the best way/place to advertise a link. I have a great link that really works for people, and has the potential to earn a lot of people a lot of money. But unfortunately, my attempt to generate traffic to this has not been as I had expected. Sure there are limited success but I need a system of generating traffic, ideally on autopilot. Is there anything out there like that?

      Hi,

      I manually post on backpage.

      All the highest traffic cities...just google it.

      It takes me about 3 hours to go through the entire list but I'm getting clicks on my link and making about $100/day.
