Google Search Results Suck

Google's certainly gotten worse with all of its massive growth, choosing greed over good user experience on Youtube, algorithm changes skewed to favor massive taxpayer-subsidized corporations' sites over useful results, and its war on Internet users trying to make a living online, who aren't huge corporations.

Yep... and YouTube's is even worse.

It seems that the more animals let out of the Google zoo (penguins, pandas, platypuses, etc.) the more idiocy is let into the search algorithm.

True that YouTube is worse now, but advertisers can get up to $100 bucks for 100,000 views as well as other freebies for allowing advertising on their channels!

The stupid ad,s that you cannot click past are the ones, that seriously P*** me off. And l usually just do something else, and wait for the Telstra, or stupid family cooking a roast, etc, to get out of the way!

Yep, the worse Google becomes the more likely someone new will set up something else.

Google wanted to buy out Facebook as well, but they or he refused, and Facebook has changed very little as a result!

Compare that with YouTube, with annoying ad's everywhere, and most of the search results, being non existent, because of the copyright terms, or having to go to someones channel and put up with the wall to wall ad,s just to see what you are searching for, arrrrrrgggggg!!!!

It's a real pity YouTube sold out, but that is the way it is! Although eventhough it can be tricky to use l have heard that Amazon has a video service as well. It may not be like YouTube, but is probably more user friendly?

Interesting you say "Google Zoo" and the p's.

Google makes Android as most of us know and their operating system is named after desserts and in alphabetized order.

      Last Four:

      Gingerbread
      Honeycomb
      Ice Cream Sandwich
      Jelly Bean

      What's next??? Key Lime Pie???

How about the shopping results? I didn't know until Bing's recent campaign, that Google's Shopping results are paid results.

Have you been Scroogled? Try Bing—we don't limit your shopping choices.

They're not the same thing. Stefan Weitz of Bing explains:

"There's paid inclusion and there's pay-to-rank," Weitz said. "That's a far different scenario than having to pay Google to be there," he explained.

The point Weitz's is trying to make is that with Google, if you don't pay, you have no chance of ranking at all, because you don't get included at all. With Bing Shopping, paying is one way of being included, but not the only way, so he doesn't count that as a ranking factor.
