White revealed on Tuesday through a Facebook post that he has cut off his shiny red tresses for the charity Locks of Love, which makes wigs for children who have lost their hair due to illness. "I've been thinking about this one for a while, but it's for a good cause, so I'm going to do it," White says in the video. "Somebody needs it more than I do." White appears slightly shaken in the video as the hairdresser, who he calls "Israel," ties his long hair into a ponytail and then cuts it off. "I'm still panicking," White says at one point. White also mentions in the video that he hadn't told anyone about his plan and that he hopes to "mind freak" everyone with his short hairstyle. |
