    Gee Mike - makes sense to me. You wouldn't believe how overtly criminal some of our politicians are now - if a known crook decided to run, I am sure the townspeople would be glad to elect a dead man to make sure the criminal elect-wanna-be knows full well where he stands.

      I heard of a horse getting elected mayor, somebody wanted to do a test, to see if people would vote for anybody, and the horse won. I forgot what city though

    This wasn't a matter of just "vote for anyone", though. I read about the possibility of his re-election in an article before this one. I'm not sure if they hated the other candidate or just used the re-election to honor this guy..........but all I can think is wouldn't it be awesome if all of our legislators were great enough to make us feel like that?
