Will YouTube become the next MySpace?

Do you think that in the near future, people will stop using YouTube? With all of the new stupid designs YouTube is coming out with you would think people would migrate over to a better video site and YouTube will disappear. Then again, idiots use YouTube, so YouTube might be dumbing down their site to make it more user friendly.

What are your thoughts?

    LOL - you say idiots use Youtube, then ask for our thoughts. Would that make us idiots?

    Love the logic...

    I like Youtube for the most part, but I don't "use" it for much. Just watch some videos and upload a few of my own. It's not part of my business structure, etc.

    As for the changes, everything changes eventually. When Facebook went to the new timeline the talk was the same - no one liked it, would not use it, FB is going the way of MySpace, etc. We see how that went.

    Youtube is Google. It's not going anywhere because right now, there are no other video sites that rival YT in number of users, etc.

    That's what I think. But who knows...

    Are you protecting your on line business? If you have a website, blog, ecommerce store you NEED to back it up regularly. Your webhost will only protect you so much. Check out Quirkel. Protect yourself.

      Generally, the smarter people do not spend much time on YouTube. It tends to be the people that have nothing to do or the idiot in the South that wants slavery back and he needs to yell and tell everyone in his video to bring slavery back.

      Well it probably will take time for another company to overcome YouTube. But it's very possible. Just look at America. In the first census in 1780 the population was 1.3 million people. One of the least populated nations in the world. Today we are at 315 million or the 3rd most populous nation in the world. So I would say give a competitor to YouTube, time to catch up. I'm also not a fan of Google and Bing is starting to compete with Google in search results.

        This is totally wrong. I suggest you do some real research into the actual demographics of those that do use Youtube.

    If that's the way you feel, you should create a viable alternative to YouTube. I imagine that is what the original creators of YouTube did vs fixating on the giants of the day.

    Bing has become my search engine.
    And you tube does have competition,but give them time.
    But yes,there are lots of racism on you tube.

    For the record, I can't stand Youtube's changes myself and also look forward to video sharing sites to emerge that'll be more like what YouTube used to be.

    May be its definitely happen in next few year. First here need a new competitor to YouTube. YouTube have many videos that are fake or useless, just time waste nothing else. And definitely i didn't like home page.
