In this very short video I put together is an actual copy of a handwritten note of former FBI head J. Edgar Hoover (found in FBI archives), where he complains about the Army whisking away a crashed UFO around the time of the Roswell, disc crash.

UFO Crash Confirmed By Hoover Handwritten Note - YouTube

Is this yet another smoking gun proofing an extraterrestrial vehicle with crew intact did in fact crash in the Roswell, New Mexico Desert in 1947?

More than likely, the whisking away of crash debris was to prevent exposure of the military's secret projects in aeronautical research. During the Cold War, the Soviets were becoming keenly aware of the technology being developed, and ingenious methods (including spoofing through highly imaginative deception) were used to foil prying eyes.

In this specific case, the Air Force, which had just been spun off the Army was seeking the FBI's assistance in interviewing eyewitnesses of UFO crashes. So, I don't think it was ours.

Hoover was angry that the Army took the crashed disc away before he could examine it, and now they were asking for his help.

He agreed to help them, but only if he had access to the crash site and was allowed to examine the disc that were recovered.

So, it is doubtful this was our technology at all.

It is almost comical how someone could come to this conclusion simply because Hoover was not allowed access to the crash debris and without physical evidence. Aeronautical research at Area 51 was conducted under the auspices of the Directorate of Science and Technology, within the CIA (formerly Office of Strategic Services or OSS). One of its specific functions was clandestine missions to obtain imagery intelligence over denied areas such as the former Soviet Union. The CIA was seldom under direct or even open communication with Hoover.

Then why ask for Hoover's help in the investigation? If it's top, top secret, why not just keep him out.

No point going further. You are entitled to any conclusion you like.

If you have some documentation on your point, I'd love to see it.

The onus is actually on you to produce a stronger case for extraterrestial origins of UFOs and alien visitors. So far, it's only been anecdotal stories and fantasies. A flying saucer made out of exotic materials from another planet presented by an alien traveler should be convincing enough. I would really like to look under the hood.

Actually, the note from Hoover proves my point, which is "'UFO Crash Confirmed By Hoover Handwritten Note." By the way, it is also dated only a week after the Roswell crash.

It is written by him and he confirms that the Army recovered a flying disc, which he wanted to see. It also confirms they wanted his help in interviewing eyewitnesses. Now, where is your documentation proving what is stated in this note from the FBI archives is not true?

I think this is the main point you fail to address, among others. But that's Ok. Enough said by me.

I'm not disputing the fact that Hoover wanted to see the disc, nor that the Army asked for his help in interviewing witnesses. However, in context of the circumstances of high level clandestine aeronautical research and lack of real physical evidence, why is it such a stretch that the crash debris was from our own technology? As referenced in my first post, there was/is a lot of effort in concealing the development of advanced military aircraft and reconnaissance platforms.

First of all, you appear to be well read in some of the aspects of this case. Then you know there have been many conflicting stories floated by the U.S. Government over the years regarding this incident. Protecting our secret technology is one of them.

However, if you have researched the subject, you also know there are at least 10 affidavits from principles directly involved in the incident that state that the vehicle and its crew were not of this world. You could spend several years reading all the books and accounts of this.

                  It's all documented.

While it's true no one has a piece of the disc, it's also documented that the Army whisked it away before anyone could get a piece of it. But those who saw it, described it as not of this world. But you already know this.

The credibility of the witnesses and the similarity of their corroborating accounts along with a Congressional inquiry, which you can look up, that showed the government improperly destroyed documents of the incident, points to the obvious fact that all these people were not lying and that something truly incredible occurred at Roswell. Much more than just a test of new 1947 technology.

That explanation is comical to me as mine is to you, considering all the evidence presented by the principles I mentioned above.

I think there is more evidence stacked on my conclusion than yours. That's really all I have to say about that, quoting Forest Gump. Anything more would be an exercise in futility for me.

Actually, this is a topic of which you might say I have had a very "special" interest in for many years. The crux of my point here is that within some circles, what looks like a duck, quacks like a duck or moves like a duck is really not even close to being a duck at all. Imitating ducks, or using decoys, is classic among governments to conceal secrets. And as mentioned in my many posts regarding this topic, the self-perpetuating UFO hoax is perhaps the most successful decoy in history as a cover for clandestine operations.

It is inherently characteristic for those engaged in espionage to use distractive devices, subterfuge, propaganda, disinformation, and even leveraging mass histeria to accomplish sensitive missions. A study of WWII history will show how effectively these methods worked, on both sides. Disguise is the ultimate weapon for concealment.

The events surrounding the end of WWII precipitated the most dangerous times in history, which continues on to this day. We as a people developed the capacity to destroy all civilization through nuclear holocaust. During the Cold War between the US and then Soviet Union, nuclear weapons profilerated on such a massive scale that there would be enough explosive power to destroy the world hundrds of times over. A doctrine emerged during this period with the acronym MAD - Mutual Assured Destruction.

During this period of mutual enmity, suspicion and madness emerged some of the most advanced feats of engineering in aeronautical design and space flight innovation. Early stealth technology was used for successfully gathering sensitive imagery over denied access areas such as the Soviet Union. Much of that technology was developed covertly at "non-existent" sites such as Area 51 and remote testing facilities at what is now Edwards AFB in California as well as among other strategic locations.

A famous example of how deeply ingrained "UFOs" are within our culture is the practical joke aired on radio of an adaption from H. G. Wells' book "War of the Worlds", narrated by Orson Wells. The hour-long broadcast in 1938 was presented as a news bulletin and led to widespread histeria; many really had believed the event to be real.

This fascination with the possibility of alien visitors is apparently wired in to our psyche. As noted in my first post in this thread, people reflexively assumed a sighting of a revolutionary stealth drone was a UFO from somewhere else far, far away. Such ingrained beliefs (encouraged by pseudoscientific "ufologists") have been exploited extemely successfully for clandestine purposes as well as commercially. My conclusion is that people have indeed been "taken" by aliens - perhaps in many different ways.

Yeah, sometimes when you give blantingly obvious pictures of something along these lines, you wonder where these people are coming from? But, it only takes a little research to realize that fear is one of the main ones!

Fear the duck will have claws, fear the duck will take them in the night and do weird experiments, fear that we will be knocked of our planet, etc!

But, you know what they say about fear!!!!

I tend to go the other way and believe that a culture needs to grow up in order to handle the more and more destructive weapons they will develop!

Or since they have been visiting us for 10,000 years or so, or even 100 they would have had plenty of time to introduce something that would wipe us out!

So, no, clearly there is more to it than that, and the powers that be, using scary images and calling it the most credible evidence, to scare the population away from this subject will continue!

I am sure there are far more smart and friendly aliens out there than the, (troll under the bridge, etc) crap the world gov, cough up!

But, it's usually just the stupid aliens that are always getting caught with their lights on or crashing. Here is a real document (obtained from the FBI via the Freedom of Information Act) written by FBI agent Guy Hottel and sent to J. Edgar Hoover in 1950. It relates how three UFOs had been recovered in New Mexico. They were described as being circular in shape with raised centers, approximately 50 feet in diameter. Each one was occupied by three bodies of human shape but only 3 feet tall, dressed in metallic cloth of a very fine texture. Apparently the "flying saucers" were disabled and crashed due to high powered radar in the area.

OK, spose this UFO was from another planet, not merely "unidentified."

The incident took place in 1947. That's over half a century ago.

If the little green people from another planet could land on our planet in 1947, what's been stopping them since then from another landing? What's been stopping them from making a big splash when they land post 1947? Headlines and all. Kidnapping people, let alone prominent people? Stuff like that.

But I see how this could make a great WSO for a defined audience. On this planet.

Yep, can't convince everyone! I showed some people the UFO that followed the Apollo astronauts to the moon, and eventhough it was real and under intelligent control and looking remarkably like a shuttle, (out of Star Trek, original motion picture) l still got uncertainly!!!

Or the common remark was, l don't know what it is, or it could be anything!!!!

Apparently some people, if they see what looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and moves like a duck, but it is an alien duck, then they don't want to know!!!

Which is a pity, because one day the duck may be in their face, and there will be no way to dismiss it, (they won't even be able to use the Universal Studios excuse).

That day is coming soon, NASA has already said that they are 95% sure microbes are in the soil, on Mars, (yeah, l know they have known about that for ages) should rattle a few cages!!!

      Shane

PS look out for a new Curiosity video showing what they found on the top of the crater mountain they landed next to. I will add it to my "Curiosity Steal Mission thread, when l have cleaned it up! At this point l will only say it isn't natural, whatever it is????
