Do Sata3 cables work with a Seagate barracuda hardrive, working ?

(or it wont work as that Sata1 /sata 2, so won't accept sata 3 cables?)

    I thought the barracuda was the one that caused a LOT of problems for people IF they did not use a terminating cap

    Maybe i am wrong, its been a while, but that was my first thought.

      Maybe i am wrong, its been a while, but that was my first thought.
      If there is a terminator available, it is always a good idea to use one. Failing to do so can lead to noise, and make things erratic. This is usually on busses that are tapped, like 10b2 and daisychained, like SCSI. wikipedia is unclear about SATA, so maybe it is point to point, like 10bt or MFM.
