Oh kewl - back online at home for half and hour and already used most of my "thanks".

Happy Belated New Years. Now that things are sorted out - I live in an AWESOME area outside of Bend, OR now. It's got open land all over to tromp around - and, of course, Central OR is famous for its spectacular agates so I've got plenty of my website members asking when they can visit and go hunting with me. I LOVE my website! We had our first Annual meet-up last summer and next summer it will be at least twice as many when we meet in the Black Rock Desert in NV. Last summer we had members from 4 states - the coming meet-up is looking like 6 or more states attending so far.

You never know how awesome it is to be online at home until you aren't!

Ricky loves it here - mile on mile of BLM land, two ponds and our favorite reservoir (with award winning agates) just down the road - and pictoglyphs for the archaeology buffs - and other dogs in the house to bark at the neighbors goats with. The only thing I have objected to yet is the 11 degrees below zero we got the other night. It's really being a cold winter. I'm far enough away from town that the night sky is outrageous, too. This summer on nights I can't get away, there will be a campfire in the back and neighbors on both sides that will be fun to toast a few marshmallows or pop a Mike's Hard Lemonade with at the fireside, to watch meteors with.

This is the best place I've been in a long time. I've been in Central OR for a year now - but not out in such an awesome area or where the people are just generally so kewl.

Now if I could figure out how to get my facebook fanpage ad configured right, life would be closing in on perfect.
