Hi Andy, it's good for you to tear yourself away from the PC and have a hobby that's completely unrelated to IM. Mine is playing Brazillian Samba music here in the UK. here we are back in the summer

Nothing exotic, really. I guess I'm a bit boring.

Hobbies are a little thin on the ground at the moment, unfortunately, and time ticks away quicker and quicker still, so I'll be damned if I ever have half as many as I'd like with without making a few sacrifices along the way.

Mine are mostly solitary by design. Boozing is the exception, though that's more of a necessity than a hobby (esp. for an Englishman) and, in truth, not always that enjoyable.

I like to cycle in good weather and bad (though not today - it's thick snow). Reading is always a pleasurable pastime, of which I do more and more. I like my guitars (more of a picker than a strummer), and discovering new music and tracing its roots.

Fishing is brilliant (freshwater), though haven't been for ages despite having a ton of some pretty good equipment to hand. I like outdoorsy stuff in general, and hope to get into trekking and camping a bit more soon, too. Climbing too, perhaps.

In the future I hope to try for a pilot's licence and perhaps one day have a small plane of my own. Umm, and there are a few other things I'd probably do well not to mention lest the morality brigade choke on their lemongrass lattes.
