How Kindle Fire HD

Has anybody been able to download aps from Google Play on to the Kindle Fire HD.

I got my wife one at Xmas and it seems to be only able to download from Amazon.

Anybody any ideas

    You'd have to root your device and install Google Play manually. Don't attempt this unless you know exactly what you're doing because its possible to brick your device.

      I had a Kindle Fire.

      I threw in a couple of iPads too for good measure.
