I've always heard that Wakeman was a total ass.
Can anyone confirm that?

I remember reading stories about him being one,both as a soloist and while being a part of Yes,which come to think of it I think was the time frame of most of those stories.

As far as the album, Your posting of TAAB made me try to think of albums that were completely theme based. Hence the Journey To The Center Of The Earth, which I felt was Wakeman's best attempt at that sort of thing.

For KimW, as he didn't know that The Buggles replaced Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman in Yes, here is the one and only album they recorded together, Drama from 1980.

Yes purists were outraged that a pair of popsters had the hide to try and fill the shoes of Anderson and Wakeman, however this is an excellent album. Both Steve Howe and Chris Squire contribute some brilliant passages on guitar and bass respectively.

Put aside your prejudices (for either The Buggles or Yes), and enjoy this.

Oh yeah, and do I really need to tell you to CRANK UP THE VOLUME!!!
