How can I signup for a US based program?

I have an interest in signing up for a US/Canada only program but I am based in Australia and Japan (alternate between the two on business). Is there someway of signing up through proxy or something that makes their system think I am in the US? Currently it can tell I am outside the US and blocks access to the site. Also is there a way to get a US based credit-card?

  • There is an amazing online service that enables you to find information on just about everything you want/need to know.

It's called Google, and you can find it here.
  • LOL.... yes of course.... Seriously though, I did try that but then thought with the wealth of experience on this forum it might be a quicker way to get an answer especially as there are probably people around that have had the same question and found a solution. Cheers
  • I glad you took that in the manner it was intended. Having just re-read it, it may have come across as snarky rather than tongue in cheek.

I actually did read something about what you were asking, but that was in a magazine (heard copy that is) a year or so ago, so it can be done. I've no doubt someone on here might be able to shed some more light on it for you.

    • What you are asking for is help in violating the terms of service of certain companies or services.

If they allow only people from certain geographical areas to join - why not respect their right to do that and find a program that welcomes you instead?
