The Game Playing Power of Twitter!

I just watched an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live online at ABC.com and his guest was 23-year-old British pop singer Lily Allen.

She said she uses Twitter to play a game: she hides a few of her concert tickets somewhere around town and then sends clues to her followers. First one to figure it out can grab her tickets and go to her concert free!

She said she was in L.A. and hid tickets in the 'G' of the Pacific Design Center' sign.

She hangs out nearby to see if anyone grabs the tickets. She said about twenty minutes went by after she sent the tweet to her followers, a man pulled up in his car, got out and walked to the sign, grabbed the tickets and took off.

Another time she slipped a couple tickets under a pair of shoes in a San Diego, CA shoe shop, tweeted her followers some clues, and as she was leaving the shop not more than two minutes later, ten young people raced past her into the shop to look for the tickets!

Jimmie asked her if she'd ever used it for evil. He said something about how she could give the address of an old couple's home and they'd have a bunch of people they don't even known racing into their home or something.

Yeah, that'd be funny...uh, not for the old people having heart attacks, though.
