Adain, some old news and pipe dreams. CHO gives you like sugars and alcohols. Most other things contain something else. ALSO, how do you get them to combine?
    ibuprofen C13H18O2 popular antiinflamatory
    *toprol C15H25NO3 popular beta blocker
    warfarin C19H16O4 popular blood thinner
progesterone C21H30O2 used for birth control
    *insulin C256H381N65O79S6 used for diabetes
*nicotine C10H14N2 used for smoking cessation, and some drugs
glycerine C3H8O3 a basic fuel and protein building block.
*propecia C23H36N2O2 used to fight dht primarily for hairloss
    *hcg C1105H1770N318O336S26 used for fertility

I AM surprised how many ARE CHO, but you can see a few common examples picked at random! Out of 9 chemicals, only FOUR are CHO, and they are all quite complex. BTW Hydrogen and oxygen can EASILY be derived from water, so they are saying that a chunk of carbon and water can somehow be mechanically arranged to create the various formulas. Last I heard, they were still using various reactive chemicals, molecules, and processes to create these drugs. They don't simply somehow mechanically assemble them. And parafin and vegetable oil are STILL not enough. They may facilitate some reactions, and encapsulate things, but are otherwise not useful.

And FDA rules mean this could take many YEARS after they get the chemicals to be created before they are approved for drugs. The delivery mechanism, stability, purity, and dosage are as important as the drug itself.

It IS interesting that the diverse things listed above only contain CHONS.

    Steve
