Okay, I admit it. I never saw the original Casino Royale back in 1967 because it didn't have Sean Connery in it.

But I had no idea the movie was so flippin stupid.

I just watched it tonight for the first time because the wife was out and I didn't really have anything to do. I figured what the heck.

OMG...What a waste of 3 hours.

Yeah, it really isn't considered or credited as a legitimate Bond flick.

  I'd never heard of this one, until you mentioned it. But just had a look in Wiki ... it does sound fairly dreadful. David Niven and Peter Sellers? Written by Woody Allen and Peter Sellers, among others?! Doesn't sound "right" at all, for a Bond movie?

Exactly. Admittedly, as a spoof it's more miss than hit. Still, with David Niven playing Bond, the movie's contribution to trivia quizzes should not be underestimated.

And as Shane pointed out, there's the Bacharach soundtrack. A movie featuring Dusty Springfield singing "The Look of Love" can never be a complete waste.
