Who on here listens to jam bands and is into hat pins? I know there is a big population of festie kids and hippie kids in Colorado, California, and places along the east coast but I'm looking for more people around other parts.

Best thing I'd say is hit up a different festival every week this summer.

true true. You gonna catch any this year? I know I'm gonna go to Feed the Rocks in Denver in April. The Disco Biscuits, Shpongle Masquerade, and RJD2 are playing. It's gonna be sick

Thanks for the news! I guess I'll have to wait until august/september and go visit some buddies in Denver and see em there. I'll be there in august anyways for STS9 at red rocks

Oh boy... don't get me started on jam bands.

Wanee Festival is coming up next month in N. Florida... Allman Brothers, Widespread Panic, Gov't Mule... need I go on?

I am dead set on heading to Wakarusa. Too many great people to pass up. I really want to check out a Papadosio show this year though. Favorite song to jam out to????

Hey widespread panic is pretty good and gov't mule can throw down. Not my favorites but still fun to see. Les Claypool, is also playing. Not gonna lie not the best lineup for a festie but still would be fun to go check out.

Haha hopefully nobody here would actually go to see either of them. You should head up to Arkansas to check out Wakarusa. Great festie with a great lineup and not super far from Florida. A bit far from the west coast for me though.

Electric Forest I live an Hour away. Playing at Infrasound Festival in Wisc. for the second straight year which is cool, the past 3 years I've been to most of the east side of the countrys hippie and electronic festivals and now cutting back to work on music and when I do go I promote for myself there with Cd's stickers, nothing like meeting your target audience at their most relaxed! Maybe some Chicago Festies as well.
