KEWL - - Okay people - I don't need your TIME ZONE - I need your LOCATION - going to sync us up with the pawprint world clock.

Bravo - There's no marker on the clock for Holland - is your time the same as German, Belgium, or Denmark?

I have no clue what GMT time is - the world clock uses UTC - that is 2 hours ahead of us on the US west coast and 1 hour behind Eastern Standard.

Give me your country - or US state you are in so I can coordinate the times. I'll have to post that set up so everyone can understand what times everything is happening. Kewl?

Okay everyone - tomorrow some time I'll have a link for each of you to register free at Jared's house (TM.com) where I'll post stuff about the experiment - generally whats going on - a list of times where everyone is and what time they are sleeping - and directions for how we're going to proceed. That will keep this thread open for chatter without everyone having to hunt for relevant info every darned time they have a question or want to remember where someone is.

For tonight - everyone just concentrate on this picture and see if anything about dogs comes up in your dreams - This is not how the experiments run, but it is a good way to condition yourself to gain a little bit of subconscious control. If you don't see dog or dream anything relevant to dogs, don't freak out or get depressed. It's just an exercise. You are on the honor system right now, and if you say you dreamed something relevant we'll take you at your word - later on there will be no way to "fake" it.

Exactly why I didn't break down everyone's sleep time in -/+ GMT. LMAO. Sleep times will be put down in each participant's own time zone. Example Terra sleeps from 11:30pm to 6am, means in her own time. I will list the GMT of each person - in fact, already did that. I'll be handing out some links tomorrow - and if someone wants to work with another person directly without them knowing - they will have their GMT coordianants and their usual sleep time. You guys get to do the calculating. I hate math and the only time I'm gonna calculate when someone might be asleep relative to me - I'll do the math . I like to attempt intrusions, too.

Jared isn't the only nutcase on this crew.

Once you have signed up, I have to activate you so for the next few days, just keep concentrating on the pic of Munchie (dog pic in post #21) before you go to bed (and maybe other times during the day).

You must tell yourself during the day now and again that you will remember your dream that night. Remembering the dream is the first part of being able to work with your own subconscious mind - dream lucidly, evaluate your dreams, etc. You have to tell your brain that you expect to remember. It actually takes practice just to master this one. If you are drunk or high when you go to sleep, you are very unlikely to remember anything. If you drink a 6 pack or smoke a few fatties some night before bed, just figure that your report for the next day will probably be "no results - intoxicated." Serious.

Once you are in the door to the group room - read the first page completely. When everyone is in and had a few days to warm up with the dog pic on here, we will start the experiment - I will add pages at that time with further info and instructions.

For right now, Terra, since the pic is visible for you to see before sleeping, yeah, just tell us what you were dreaming if you remember. This is just an exercise to get people to start remembering their dreams and to try to influence them. Dream recall develops from concentrating on dreaming and what to dream, and what you did dream, so this is important practice to start us up.

As far as me - yes, I dreamed about a dog - Ricky. Ricky had a vet appointment today, though, so between thinking about Munchie's picture and Ricky's appointment and problem with his leg, it was a cinch that I was gonna dream about dogs one way or the other. It's just like when people think about work or work too many hours the work will end up in their dreams. You dream much about what you concentrate heavily on.

How's everyone else doing?

Terra - that first night dream in really interesting. The dog appears just as you are starting to lose the dream and gain consciousness. It seems your conscious mind was nagging your subconscious mind about it, so you brought the dog in during a half and half state - nipping at your ankles, nagging you "hey, you forgot about me". I know you and I have discussed dreams before and I know you have pretty good recall, so you're a bit ahead of some others here. Let's see if you are as good at receiving signals from people you've never met. LMAO.

Like I said - the experiment should generate more dream control - the sending messages part is what the actual "experiment" is in the mix of developing the recall. Will it work? How strong can we develop it if it does? The last time a group of us experimented we had a few hits. Interestingly, Jared hit me pretty strong once. What I would like to get enough results to know is if people who have actually talked to each other via phone etc - have actual personally communicated - will hit better than those who are in the group but having no personal connection to the others. Since you and I have actually sat in the same room yacking, maybe we'll connect better than say Art or Jaqs and I?

Incidentally. I was busy up til the time I fell asleep - other than I've been playing Youtube stand up comedians to fall asleep to lately so I wasn't really concentrating. Last night I don't remember any dogs in my dreams. I do remember Sheldon from the big bang theory but I got sidetracked and lost the rest of the dream. I know Sheldon and I were doing something scientific. Not much, but any memory of a dream is a good start. Not nearly as good as the night before when I actually dreamed about my dog - but I had a LOT of conscious dog impact in real life to help me to that, so it could have been more coincidence than intention.

People - another thing I need to add to this for you is that - if you hit your target -- try to remember the feeling you had while dreaming. The emotion is a very strong brain coding to bring into the mix.

Years ago I experimented with my dreams.
In particular, remembering them.
I would repeat "I will remember my dreams" 3 times as I was falling asleep.
It worked very well. In fact, it worked too well.
I had too quit when I reached the point where I started having trouble discerning my dreams from reality.

Not to get off-topic here, as I too was curious to hear Lcombs response, if any.

I stumbled upon this video, I actually saw this band live at age 14, I always loved this song... hadn't listened to it in ages, never really gave it much thought... yet felt the message coincides greatly with the journey this group is embarking upon.

Also, I'd like to point out, the lyric is wrong in an important part of this song, and should be "We'll protect you in the night" - not singular as the only two videos I found with lyrics both seem to have missed...

I know the project is temporarily suspended but I had a funny dream last night I wanted to share.

It seems the Pope had gone bowling and I called the Vatican to get his scores with the intention of writing an article.

I got a really chatty nun on the phone once she overcame her reserve about giving out info about the Pope. Seems he bowled a 220 and a 250 and a good last game though I don't recall the score.

They had to get medical clearance for one really old sister to bowl. And she did. Sounded like they had a really great time.

LeeLee - the group room is still open so you can still post there and chat. There's just nothing "official" going on there. I get messages in my email when someone posts - thought you folks did, too.
