Need Advice- Facing My Own Fiscal Cliff

I'm embarrassed to be making this thread but I'm running out of options and ideas of how to deal with my financial situation. I've been lucky to get myself out of hard times before due to employing some offline skills but I'm worried by this one I'm facing.

After payroll is issued from my internship (which I'm trying to get out of since it's too low paying for this city cost of living) on the 31st I'm going to come up about $50 short on rent April 1st and after paying rent (assuming I get the last part of it) I'm going to have no in the bank for about 2 weeks until the next payroll. Which means no money for transportation and none for food.

This is about $350- 400 needed to make ends meet and normally I would employ some offlining marketing skills (I have been sending off emails to businesses like mad this past week) since that's worked in the past but for some reason I'm not getting any responses to inquires. More importantly, how am I going to meet with clients if I can't afford a subway pass? (Feeling like Chris Gardner right now for those who've seen The Pursuit of Happyness)

Getting bailed out by family is an option but they're going through their own hard times so I feel a guilty asking for money. (They would understand since it's an emergency situation)

I'm trying to my entrepreneurial creativity by selling off as many things I don't need on Craigslist but short of that online marketing, article writing, Craigslist are slow way to make money when a financial emergency is bearing down on you.

I'm a bit frazzled as you can tell but need to think clearly as what the best thing to do to make or get the needed amount is.

Pay advance from your employer (NOT a pay day loan place)?
Ask your employer if there is more work you can do for pay.

Food bank, some church out reach.

Walk your neighborhood and ask businesses and homeowners
if there is ANY work they need done - cleaning, painting, whatever.

List all your skills and think how to monetize them in your neighborhood.

For example, you probably know more than most people about computer repair and
networking and devices and wifi... so you could get some $75 to $100 (or more) gigs doing computer repair and such. Or maybe you can do websites. Advertise on Craigslist. Put up flyers all over the place. Coldwalk your neighborhood until you have some business.
