The station that brought you Smallville has a series out now called Arrow.
Anyone watch it?

Yes, when I first started watching it wasn't sure what to expect but I like it from what I hear its doing well in the ratings so we should see a season 2.

I was expecting a bad show to be honest, but it has turned out to be better than I expected.
I find myself usually more interested in the island parts of the story.

I mentioned Smallville because they had a Green Arrow Character, and when I first heard of Arrow I thought it was going to be the same actor and character from Smallville, but I was wuite happy that it wasn't and with the peson they chose for the part.

From what I understand it only has three more episodes for this season, and I do hope it gets picked up for season two.

I enjoy the show quite a bit. The Starling City scenes can be a bit shallow at times - this is not necessarily GREAT television. But it is good fun to watch, especially when the action picks up. They also have done a good job of pacing the mystery elements, especially in the island narrative.

I am in Australia and they are about to start5 screening the first season. It looks good and is the same character as Smallville because there is only one Green Arrow but they have changed actors and skewed the story too...a bot like they did with Smallville.

I love Arrow. Was leery at first because Smallville`s Oliver Queen wasn`t in it, but it hasn`t disappointed yet. There are a lot of side stories going on and I love John Barrowman from Torchwood and Manu Bennett from Spartacus.

I am looking forward to finding out more about the island. Especially about the dude in the yellow/black mask.

I think the only thing the two Arrows have in common is the name and they shoot a bow.
I really liked the Character they had on Smallville, and the actor was very likable.

When I saw the commercial for Arrow, since it was on The CW and Smallville was on The CW I thought it was going to be the same actor. It wasn't.

Because of that I had a pre conceived dislike for the show.

As it turned out I forced myself to watch more that the first episode and the show grew on me,and now I really like it. It would rank in the top shows I watch along with
      Breaking Bad
      Sons Of Anarchy
      The Walking Dead.
      and Honey BooBoo
(Gotcha! Threw that Honey slop in to see if you were really still reading).

I had no idea what Arrow was about if I had read what it was about I would probably have thought nah sounds sucky, if a show grabs me after the first episode its usually a good sign.

I agree KimW Breaking Bad is fantastic I also love Game of Thrones season 2 just started , the funniest show for me right now is Shameless.

I LOVE Shameless. And Breaking Bad.

Throw in House of Lies, Dexter and The Following, and that is just about my entire repertoire of tv. Oh, and Big Bang Theory. And Continuum, and for those of you with a more wicked sense of humor, check out Wilfred.

I almost got my wife to watch Arrow with me, but she'd rather watch home improvement shows with her limited free time.

I always go with 3 chances with almost everything.
I go eat one place, its good.
I go a second time, its bad
I go the third, this si decidingactor if I come back or not.
If it is good, I will return.
If it is bad, They don't get anymore of my cash.

      Same with tv shows.
Not all episodes can be stellar.
I may catch it and watch when they have the worst episode they ever made on.
Wouldn't be fair to judge on that one showing.

I try to give everything in life a fair chance.

Do you buy much? I've found that track 7 is usually the weakest, slipped in at that point because the producer knows the listener is usually so stoned it doesn't matter what they play then.

I watch it most weeks. Is John Barrowman dead? (I mean the character he plays)

I'm a big Superhero geek. The show isn't like The Green Arrow Character in the comics at all, but they give the show a very realistic approach.

Way too much drama with the relationships and family (I'm a guy). I just love the action sequences. Like Smallville....watching in the hopes for a few seconds of Superhero action.

      I'm such a 5 year old.

You are right,it isn't like the comic Green Arrow or the Smallville Green Arrow, which was what I expeced considering the same channel brought us Smallville.

The things is that most shows are so damn predictable nowadays because the stations all feed the public pablum that I was really surprised (pleasantly) by this episode.

I don't want to say what happened since so far it seems no one that has responded has seen this one yet and I don't want to give anything away.

I watched. Was surprised by Tommy's development. Also Yao Fei's. Not so much by Malcolm's and Moira's.

Nice cliffhanger, and a little unexpected. I look forward to picking it up again next season.

I was also very surprised at the event in the opening sequence, as it was contrary to what we had been told all season long.
