A Challenge For You... If you dare....

Here's a challenge for you. A thought experiment of sorts...

You wake up tomorrow and your online empire has been wiped out. No sites, so ads, so email lists, no blogs... it's all gone. You learn you have been targeted by the evil global mega-hacking group Blackout.

They've cleaned your online presence in an attempt to eliminate all their IM competitors and gain total online domination of niche sites, authority blogs, affiliates, and ads.

All you have left is a new, fresh off the shelf computer, $1,000, and 6 months to regain control of your little corner of the internet. If you do nothing, or you fail in your mission, Blackout will have succeeded and all hope for honesty, integrity, and regular sales commissions will be lost... forever

Hurry master internet marketer! The world needs you! What is your plan?

  • Even if that did happen, building a new presence online would serve no purpose as the group could just wipe you out again.

    2. I put on my super hero costume and pay a visit to Blackout head quarters.

    It may be just a scenario, but what if, at some point, the internet is going down for good? I know, this sounds like the controversial conspiracy theory, but...what if? :-)

    Anyway, to answer the question... I think it would be damn hard to start all over again, but with the experience you have gained, it would certainly be a lot easier that the first time, right? The Blackouts will not be able to take what is inside your brain :-)
  • Basically this is another "How would you start from scratch" thread.
    I would suggest you look up the other few dozen or so and get your WSO ideas from them...

  • I'd go to the philippines and learn more from my mentor or invest it into Solo Ads and outsource some Full Time employees.
  • This is actually an interesting thread...anything is possible,

    I'd say if you treat your baby like a real business, you should have some kind of backup and continuity strategy in place. If you don't have any, this is might be a good chance to start thinking about putting one in place.

    Why would I think with such negativity towards my hard worked and hard earned sources of online income...
    People have worked hard enough to build their empires , why would one think about such stuff...
    Be positive, think positive and plan positive please............
  • This is easy, and no different than anyone starting to target a new niche.

    1. I would begin registering new domains I can use to sell my products and promote affiliate products, and begin creating websites. Since I have copies of my web pages saved on my computer recreating new sites is not difficult.

    2. If needed, I would apply for new affiliate accounts, PPC, etc.

    3. I would then begin using the tips, strategies, software tools, etc., found in my various products. I already know they work, so I would simply use them again. With PPC new advertising can begin immediately. With SEO traffic often start appearing within a week.

  • Well if that happend you would be stating from scratch unless you backup your sites very regular then you would have to take good hard look at security for your sites
  • My sites are backed up in the cloud I hope the sky is safe from blackout

    • That's what scares me about "The Cloud".
      The people who run the Cloud ARE the Blackout group.
      They have the power to make you "go away" with the flip of a switch.

  • It's always good to have different ways to make money online so even if one is being wipe out, there are others that will survive.

    Having said that, I would still do CPA as they have results pretty fast and it's easy to scale up fast.
  • Deal with Blackout first off and see to it that they won't be much of a threat.
    It won't hurt really bad, cause you should spread your eggs.
  • I'd just build back the same one. My site members know who I am. My customers know who I am. They can take out your technology -- they can't wipe out your networked connections. So.............if it happened (again), I'd go have a bottle of Asti and a bowl and call unknown people evil things. Then I'd go hunt rocks for 3 or 4 days, then I'd come home and just do the stuff over and load my products back on my sites and apologize to my site members for the down time.
