BALTIMORE (Reuters) - Oxbow, a 15-1 longshot ridden masterfully by 50-year-old Hall of Famer Gary Stevens, cruised to an easy, wire-to-wire victory in the Preakness Stakes on Saturday, denying a Triple Crown bid for Kentucky Derby champion Orb.

    Got to love the long shots
    I've got a little track by me that has the nickname "Grave yard of favorites".
    Back in the day I did alright betting the long shots there. I put some work in it, studying the racing form for hours and checking out the horses before their race, that kind of stuff. I'd always go with the horse I liked, but would put more money on it if it was a long shot then a favorite.
    I'll keep an eye on that horse and see if it runs in the Travers this year, could make for an interesting field.
