Another Human/Animal Reunion

Here's a woman that found a lion in the wild that was starving, sick and on the verge of death.

After nursing the lion back to health, she found a zoo to take the lion. It took her about 6 years to visit the lion at the zoo.

  • I just never get sick of seeing these types of videos. How can anyone ever watch one of these and not understand the depth of love animals are capable of?

    The second and third video are a hoot though - cat seems to have missed the dog but doesn't seem to care two hoots about the kid. LMAO.

      It's one I've seen before as well. All animals are wonderful and God's creatures. If mankind could show anywhere near the level of devotion and loyalty that most animals do then we'd live in a far better world.

      Incidentally, I'm a great believer that crimes against defenceless animals should carry the same deterrent and punishment as if it they were committed against a fellow human being. Maybe the "real animals" would think twice about doing it then.

  • Big cats are such beautiful animals. I wonder how long the dachshund and lion have known each other. I assume since the lion was very young.

      It's not courage you need, it's a submarine.
    • oh, i do agree - it looks all warm and fuzzy until you see what can happen when a bear somehow 'switches' personalities. Or a lion or any big beast - hell i am scared to death of pit bulls -everytime there is a new death. they could come out of anywhere, anytime.

      however i am so jealous of that lady in the original OP's post. I have always dreamed of 'the lion lies down with the lamb' and how when we get to that place I want to kiss a lion on the cheek and get my face licked!

      ... and there she is right here and now and this is not just friendship - it is true love!

      errrrrr, thats ok i can wait until the 'no-personality-change possible 'Kingdom of Heaven'. I will put my faith in a sure-bet, hold the teeth and claws, little buddy.

      i can't believe how magnificent tigers are either - even the little kid tigers are ferocious!
