Need Job FAST! Should I OUTSCOURCE?

I want to outsource my job search because I can barely get through 4 or 5 applications a day, provided that I fill out the assessments, application and don't use a resume. I decided today that attaching a resume will save me light years.

I want to use outsourcing to get a job faster. Its been many many weeks since I put in my first application now I'm probably going to have to put in an unemployment extension. So this is pretty serious.

Have any of you guys tried outsourcing applying to jobs? My main concern is my info getting stolen and sold in the underworld's of deathly hollows...lol There is only one MorbitlyObesePaypalAccoun and I'd like to keep it that way.

Soo...even if you haven't tried it yourself I'd like to hear some ideas about doing this safely.

The success of outsourcing here depends on what your skillset is. and your name has two misspellings in it, and is unique, so it is copyright-able.

        I should have said trademark-able.

  • you guys are pretty lame. Why don't you give real advice when someone is talking about a serious subject, instead of wasting time with you weak attempts at humor. Computer nerds. lol

      Weak attempts at humor?!?!?!?!?

I gave you ****EXCELLENT**** advice! Since I am not here to waste my time telling everyone how to get hired, and you told us NOTHING about YOU, I can't tell you how to go to step 2 and beyond. I DID get you to step ONE though.

If you can't apply that, please go to bulgeria or something. HEY! Last I heard, GEORGIA was doing pretty well! Here is the wikipedia section on them:

Georgia (country) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

I even toyed with looking at it. Unfortunately, I don't speak Georgian.

BTW nothing in this post, or the others, is a joke.

Because we have difficulty taking you seriously, given the two mistakes in your username, which people have (mostly very politely) been mentioning to you for over three years now, as well as telling you how to correct that quickly and easily. I'm not trying to be rude to you, but when you so consistently ignore people's tactful and helpful advice here, I think there's a limit to the extent to which you can expect us to take you seriously (especially when you've even posted your question in the wrong part of the forum, too). Sorry.

You think anyone's going to give you SERIOUS advice after that?

I don't know if he or she will appreciate my request that they move to georgia(the COUNTRY). Turn about is fair play.

BTW **I** am an outside resource! The FIRST thing I try to do, is match my skill set with the closest job I might like. that is the FIRST thing! If you can't adapt, FORGET outsourcing! If you find no employers willing to accept what you are willing and able to learn, FORGET IT!

Lexy is right. I didn't bother to mention those errors because I thought you simply didn't care enough to want to change them. It also gives you more of an amateurish reputation when you do that and also when you offend people.

    Alexa,

Let's be fair! With NO skill set mentioned, we can't say WHERE he or she should post. I couldn't even say what site to post on. I got my current job after just posting to TWO sites. As I recall, I got about 16 serious offers a day. And NONE were for low end jobs. But not just anyone could post there. If I were a baker, a chef, an insurance salesperson, a car sales person, a retail clerk, etc.... I would have to go somewhere else.

I may be wrong but I didn't read the OP user name as a 'spelling mistake', there is no 'correct' spelling for a username. I thought he was making a witty play on words saying word 'morbitly' rather than morbidly, a sort of pun on the bitly link shortening site!

I've never tried outsourcing the process of applying for jobs. But some parts like organising the resume could probably be outsourced.

don't bother explaining the username to them...

And yeah, I'm going to use a resume, to give the outsourcers so that they can apply with speed. However, are there any sites that you can trust with important info like this?

Most applications require you to put your social up there. Maybe I could write, "I can show proof that I can work in the us upon request" on my resume, but there is no telling whether they'll still have to type my social in on the online application.

I don't understand why you would want to outsource getting a job. If your future employers found out then they would not be best pleased.

If you are pitching for jobs to grow your business then this would be a good way of getting the initial "foot in the door" but again, you have to show up and meet someone.

My reason for it is to be able to cast a wider net. And at the same time I'll be putting in applications as well.

I'm not worrying about showing up in person. I'll do that.
