Frankly - if I was a Pres who was droning out life forms and holding wars and military actions globally..............I'd get my violent little ass into hiding. I have a feeling those "people" wouldn't be in the mood to see that crap leaking out into space.

Sorry guys,

I had narrow thinking when I was joking around.

A couple of months notice? That should be enough time to try and establish communications of some sort, albeit very crude.

After that, the science and communications people would have to figure out what to give them as a token of goodwill, if we meet with them face to face.

I'd just do what I always do. Nothing else I could do about it anyway. Besides, they might be friendly and be able to help us with things like energy. While I might have a little apprehension about it, I'd also look forward to their arrival.

I'd send out radio signals telling them we welcome them to visit if they are coming in peace, but we are preparing to defend ourselves in case they are hostile.

I'd organize my defense along with all our allies to be on standby for all out inter-galactic war, just in case. Then when they arrive I'd welcome them and see if they came in peace or not. Then I'd ask them what cool and unique foods they have wherever they come from, and if I can try some.

We are talking to how many species?
Amazing that they all come from planets that have the same gravity, the same atmospheric pressure, the same composition, the same temperature..as Earth.

And they all have language, and they all speak english, and their brains are all wired like ours, and they are all humanoid, and they are all the same relative size, and they all wanted to make the incredible journey to see us.

My God.....how long will I have to drink gasoline before this all sounds rational?

I imagine they would certainly have plants, fauna and food to show us. I would so be interested, maybe somewhat apprehensive, but prayerful and hopeful that they would agree to peace and forward teachers in sciences, energy and medicine to us. You don't know but the doctors the aliens would most likely have would have something that would help us out a good deal, possibly with things we are having a "party" at, like Alzheimers. I know that WE are hoping to get rid of the Alzheimers problem. The aliens may set us on the right path for that and others.

I have always wondered what alien fauna looked like. That would be interesting. I wonder if they could eat our plants like they could where they came from.

Foods: I wonder how frigging hot their spicy foods are. Is it so hot, like the English hot mustard, where you only need a mere touch on ham? If so, is it the MILDEST one? The spiciest one may actually cause a sore, or ulcer?

Yep, not surprised by that, there are probably two separate species on Mars at present.

Humanoids and the usual grey, large eye ones we see so often.

There is also another planet on the opposite side of our Sun, that astronomers have glimpsed through their telescopes, when they got lucky, that is apparently habitable, or has intelligent life on it.

The Russians tried to send a probe there, not knowing what was there, and a large black object stopped it or UFO.

We don't hear a peep, mainly because it would lead to free energy and the 100 trillion oil profits in the ground disappearing. They will milk every last day they can to keep their immense profits, over human suffering, and keep their lacky dependent lifestyle for as long as possible.

But it won't last much longer!
