  • Android is now used for.... Phones, Tablets, microcontrollers, some small computing devices, possbly chrome books, and WHO KNOWS what else! MOST are networked to the internet in some way.

    • It is INCREDIBLE how popular it is. Perhaps it is because it is small, has a nice GUI, has some basic apps, has a lot of apps available, is apparently free, and is supported on most cheap CPUs made today. In most cases, Linux is better, but it is probably bigger.
