You can call me Traad.
Im 21, i am a U.S citizen living in brazil and i am an aspiring entrepreneur, i work with exporting green coffee beans and im new to all of this. I am no stranger to computer hardware and software though because i love gaming. I was always interested in learning how to make money online through these types of marketing that everyone here works with but never understood how. Untill recently on another forum i participate in they started talking about it in a more simpler fashion and wanted to help others out with this venture. then someone over there referred me to the WarriorForum. I went in on it and never looked back. Im so intrigued, motivated and ready to do what it takes to make money.

i would say i have been reading up about IM religously for about 2-3 weeks now but im still lost! I began reading through the thread and now i participate it on the other forum however every other post from the professionals there leads me to something i dont know and need to research about or ask.

Im currently on my first venture, i have "kind of" decided what niche website i wanted to do but im really hesitant to do it because i dont know if it will work or even makes sense to IM (the way i think about it it does). it works as a niche website+ trying to do afilliate marketing on it + youtube videos + adsense ( i think im doing it right?) all in the same site/idea.

My biggest fear is that living in Brazil is a total handicap trying to work online because of accounts, customers/companies trusting... products and in between other things.

Please if anyone has any experience from outside the US to share with me , i am all ears ( or eyes over here haha).

Nice to meet you all! now lets get to work!

Well welcome and good luck. Although this forum offers tons of ideas and suggestions, don't spend so much time in reading as you may experience information overload. Pick only those things that applies to you...

    regards

Hey there! Welcome! I have never worked outside of the US but I know that many other have moved from the states once they have built their business up. Like any sales is a science like any other..new answers lead to new questions. Good luck!

Living in another country isn't a handicap unless you let it be one - in fact, there's quite a few benefits to it.

But regardless of the pros or cons to it, what makes you think everything will know where you're from?

Im afraid of payments for example.

I hear people use paypal and bitcoin but also deposit in bank accounts. I dont have a US bank account so it might limit me i guess..

However, I do plan on visiting my home country soon and i will open an account there for business purposes

      Welcome Traad,

Here is an easy way to get started.

First, make a list of all the things you (a) are passionate about, (b) have experience with more than the average person, (c) have training in so that others would consider you a master, (d) have an education in, or (e) would like to learn about so that you can become an expert.

Next, for each item on this list that you have made, make a list of the 2-4 top search terms you would type into Google if you wanted to learn more about the item.

Next, begin searching on the terms you listed and see what the top 15 or 20 web sites that come up are all about.
      • What do they offer in terms of products and services?
      • What is their business model? (direct sales, affiliate sales, content with advertising, memberships, etc)
      • Who are they catering to and where do they advertise?
      • Do you recognize any gaps or holes in what they are offering?
Next, narrow the list down to the items you have the most interest in and those that seem to have lots of gaps or holes in what is being offered.

Finally, we need to determine whether there are sufficient numbers of prospects in the niche and how "hungry" they are for more information and study/experience. Visit the following sites:
      • Nextmark Do a search to see if there are mailing lists focused on the topic - the more the better
      • Dummies Do a search to see if there are any "Dummies" books focused on the topic - again, the more the better
      • Magazines Do a search to see if there are magazines for sale on the topic. Don't just search on the broadest category but narrow the search down to exactly what your niche is about
      Once you have established
      1. that a topic interests you,
      2. that you have something to offer (or learn about) that goes beyond what most people would know about the topic,
      3. that others are also wanting more information about it,
      4. others are willing to pay for continued enjoyment or info in the niche,
. . . then you will be able to feel confident that there is room for what you might have to offer.

As you approach how to position yourself in the niche, a good place to start is setting up a blog so you can build a mailing list, "show off" your expertise/passion/training/knowledge in the subject, and understand what niche prospects feel and want that maybe they aren't getting in the available products and services in the niche.

There are other ways of going about this, but this method will get you started if you don't understand niche research.

      Good luck to you,

      Steve

Welcome. If I were you I would find some other Brazilian marketers on here and find out what products and services they are promoting. I'm not sure what handicaps you have living in Brazil, but if you can get a Paypal account then that would be a good step to take.
