    I would love to see the sky as shown in some of these photos.

    I guess that is how the ancients saw the sky every night.

    Awesome pic's TL.

    I started painting at a young age, oils first then venturing into unchartered waters.

    As soon as i saw the 1st pic, it took me back to water colors - if you want a shortcut, just use salt to get these results. It's much faster, fun too!!!

    I love sky pics. Especially when they are of things like gaseous regions where stars form -- then they look just like agates to me.

    Thanks for sharing. I loved the 'Galactic Beam by Wayne England (Australia)' the most. Light pollution is terrible isn't it. I dream of being able to move further away from the city so we can see more stars in the night sky. Here in NZ its considerably better but still, a man can dream.:rolleyes:
