That Was A Mind-Blower

Sometimes I hear what sounds like horses trotting, look out the window, and see someone riding a skateboard. It sounds weirdly similar to me. Of course it makes sense, since I live in a city, not countryside. Anyway, I just heard a skateboarder outside, looked out the window and saw a young woman riding a horse.

    This reminds me of a scene from Steven Wrights " The Appointments of Dennis Jennings" short film, where he's napping on the couch dreaming but we the audience are aware of some repetative sequence of sounds somewhere outside the apartment similar to construction or hammering...but as we go into his dream we see how his brain in dream state interprets the sounds into a bystander at the corner being hit over the head with a shovel by someone else. Both people just standing there, one hitting and one Being hit.

    Then of course the sight gag is, he wakes up goes to the window to see what the noise is and it's a guy being hit over the head with a shovel.
