Hi, Blaze! Welcome to Warrior Forum and internet marketing world!

About your question, it depends on your plan. Do you want to make $100 just because you need money, or you want to build a long term business to be a full time internet marketer? And do you mean $30 per month or just $30?

By the way, you can aim for thousands of dollars per month, though. If that's your goal, make it happen. Seriously! Mindset determines success.

    Success to you,
    eL

You need to figure out how you want to earn money, and you may have to re asses you objectives.
$30 dollars and 2 hours a day to make $100 per month is maybe a litlle niave, but that is just my opinion, and should not a determiniing factor in what you do.

You might want to take some time to read previous threads where other people have asked the same or similar questions that you are asking here. you will find useful and actionable advise there.

Hope you find that useful, and welcome to the forum.

@RestlessBlaze - @cynzdareveur is absolutely true. Mindset is all matters. Do not treat online business as a magical pill. It has got all the ingredients of any other business models. Hardwork, Dedication, avoiding procrastination, concentration and more should be applied to you succeed. In simple terms there are short term and long term money making. You invest money (but in the right direction and right place) and make money out of it. If you do not invest, handwork and dedication are the two terms for your success. You can choose any of the core money making things like Blogging, List Building, Creating Simple Sites and selling on Flippa or other related sites etc etc.,

All in all when you start you have to have a plan. Your efforts are directly proportional to how much you want to make money. believe me there's no push button to success anywhere in the world and online is no exception to that.

Yes but if I wanted to sell you a make money online product, I wouldn't try and sell it saying you wouldn't make money would I? Or that it was really hard and required tons of effort?

If you think you can make money online fast and with no effort with no experience, you will get somewhat upset.

Yes, mindset. The thing is that you will almost certainly have to work harder than you think and it will take longer than you think to make any money. Whatever you do, don't fall for the "get rich quick" schemes, they just simply don't work.

I would start by reading here on the Warrior Forum. Find threads with questions that you have and think about what you are interested in doing online. Where can you provide value?

Hey Blaze, I'm new to the forums here as well but my interest and study of marketing, particularly on the internet, goes back years. Unfortunately there are many people who glorify it like a sleazy get rich quick scheme. Obviously with proper dedication and persistence you can build yourself up and expand your connections.

My advice would to be just browse random threads here on the warrior forum and engage in conversation with people you wouldn't normally talk to. You'll be surprised at how many people are willing to help you progress. Best of luck in your marketing ventures!!

    $100/month is all you want??

In that case, make a couple of Youtube videos promoting moderately priced ~$50 Clickbank products. You'll only need to make 3 or 4 sales a month to hit your mark, which is pretty doable.

Blaze are you from Cochrane? lol I know a blaze from there ... Would be awesome if it was!

My greatest advice, Spend $37 and get a war room membership, and then invest in a coach.
( just know that you can only post something of value to other warriors in the war room, until you get on your feet, do not post anything in there just read and gather all the amazing info. )

This will lead to the greatest amount of success in the least amount of time.

I will not sugar coat anything, the first little while trying to make money online can be a tough ride. Ride it out, know that you will fall, just need to learn how to pick yourself up again. You are in good hands here. Do not sign up to any "gurus" they will lead you broke. ( unless they are coaching you )

Besides mindset and coaching being important factors that you must consider, please remember that the most important pointer any one can give you is never give up a stable job till you are sure your internet marketing ventures have paid off and can support you full time. Many times people think it is over night and then need to pay bills. I am sure you will suceed. Good luck!

Hey Blaze! Welcome. I would like to tell you that remember, whatever you decide on doing, TAKE ACTION. If you do affiliate marketing, take action and create some videos everyday. Focus on steps to build on your business. Make sure you become a learner and action taker at the same time. Do not just buy and learn. You will never get off the ground.

Yes, you can make a passive income of $100 or more. I would not like to fix a given time period on when to expect the returns. However, I know that it is possible given you take time to learn and stay focussed on your ultimate goal, two very powerful keys to success.

Hmmm, Off the top of my head l would say avoid SEO, or treat it as a hobby, unless of course it takes off!

SEO, (Search Engine Optimization, or a website, blog, etc).

I should be making about $100 a month, after more than 5 years of trying, but the site requires fairly advanced graphic skills, although audio, templates, etc are also available.

My suggestion would be Fiverr, it would take time to get going, but l know of several people making up to $700 a month doing stupid things with a camera.

As for investing money and doing little else, probably outsourcing or hiring someone to do projects for you that can make money.

Software is the first that comes to mind, but it can take up to 2 years to make a decent income from that.

I am presently concentrating on graphics, since l can do it myself, etc, but will outsource when the profits get high enough.

You can hire a professional from the Philippines, for about $250 a month, (a full wage for them) and eventually make more than they cost to employ, etc.

As you can see, there is a lot to learn, and if you are not skilled in one or more areas, the inevitable mistakes and loss of money will result.

So, coming here for advise, or finding a coach, is a good idea. I have been associated with several, and always learned something useful.

      Good luck.

Phew, ok, l will spell it out for you....

In December 2007, l started my first site, full of hope that it will become successful in a few months as the organizers or hosts said.

Then after about 2.5 years of hard work, l barely got it up to $3 a month in adsence, eventhough it costs me $30 a month to run.

I still believe especially considering the effort, that l can make it cough up one day, but not at the moment.

I later found that about 87% of people who create sites with this host fail, or the vast majority!

It took months to learn all the SEO stuff, but with Panda, and other Google slaps, it is easier said than done. But don't get me wrong you could be the 13%?

I could give other SEO examples with videos, and the like, but my point is, SEO is very labor intensive and it might work or it might not, so eventhough it is free, is it worth putting a year into something that may make $50 a month and take maybe another year or two to do it again?

SEO is a good skill to learn, but if you want to make money asap, l would learn it as a hobby or give it 4 months, (assuming that you will be working on it 8 hours a day).

Then possibly move on if it shows no signs of worthwhile growth!

SEO on some sites like Graphicriver, or Fiverr work quite effectively by themselves, but that is just adding enough keywords, it isn't like classic SEO, with adding enough kw's to your page, and making sure your domain name is short and includes your primary kw, blah, blah, (SEO is huge, so l won't bore you).

But with Graphicriver for example, just find out what people are buying and do something similar!

Then just build a portfolio of products, that make more and more through network free promotion, and SEO keyword traffic.

Obviously it isn't as easy as that, it takes learning and failure, etc, but persistence does pay in this case.

Arrrrrrrgggggg, yep, did that, got the T-shirt, etc!

I was with PPC Classroom, for about 7 months, and eventhough it wasn't cheap l learned a lot. Including the fact that it isn't easy, but l suppose most isn't or everyone would be online doing it??

Adwords is like walking on eggshells, but if you read their rules, you will probably be fairly safe, just don't make the mistake l did, in creating quality make money products, and get slammed by them, because they put it in the GRQ group!

Software that is tool based, is fine, since it performs a task, but venture into make money the eggshells get pretty thin.

I found that hottest product l found was Earth for Energy, (by the way they broke Google's TOS, so don't bother with that one) that typically gave me 2 sales at $30 each out of 100 visitors.

Sounds great l know, but, this is one off sales, try the same kw's, again and nothing will happen.

Then create a product around WP or Facebook, and the kw costs will be $5 or more for anything that converts.

This sort of tit-for-that happens all the time in PPC, so finding a offbeat niche and product that Google likes and makes a good product isn't easy but probably still possible.

I shelved it after 7 months because of the associated costs, (you probably need a few hundred for a decent test) and like most tried to find a cheaper option that can be scaled up.

Developing your own EFE product is a good idea, but l would rather stay with Graphics.

Arrrr, Earth for Energy, (getting lazy)!

Ok, Well l tried backdoor kw's, which basically means go to Amazon and then related books to your niche and scour the index for extra kw's that most people don't use!

I tried that with E4E, and got two sales out of 100, which gave me a $30 profit, then tried again, without any further sales.

That is why most spend $250 for a real test, because you have to use expensive kw's as well to find the recurring profitable ones.

Sign in to this site, and click on Webinars, it will give you some more great info, on PPC, etc.

            Offervault | User Login

But no, as said before, after 7 months, and about $97 dollars a month membership, l realized that it would cost hundreds to really test a promising product, or see if it really could scale up.

Like most l wasn't prepared to spend possibly thousands to find something, and pulled the plug.

The internet is a big place, and there is sure to be something that could be scaled without risking going bankrupt in the process!

But don't get me wrong, the founder made $10,000 profit before xmas after 7 months of duds, (although it took him 4 years all up).

I did seriously consider investing $1000, (everything l had back then) at E4E, but it was too risky, and as said before Adwords won't touch it!

But there are knockoffs, that might still work with them, and forget about Bing, and Yahoo, l have tried Bing advertising, but it never converts for affiliate products.

Never tried CPA, so l can't comment on that one.

The bolded bit is your biggest problem.

You want a business but you want to make quick money overnight. They are two different things. One starts a business, the other doesn't.

If you want to be successful you first have to build the business, that way, in time, you can make money quickly but you don't do that from the word go.

You have said 2 things in this thread that don't fill me with confidence about your chances going forward.

That very much sounds to me like you don't want to do much work but you expect high rewards at great speed.

Yep, as Richard has said, this isn't an overnight gig! It seems to take most of us, 5 to 7 years to figure it out, unless we get lucky!

Did l make money, phew, overall no, or not yet.

Graphicriver is the centre of my attention at present, since, l have great graphic skills and software to do it.

It just takes persistence and a lot of effort, at least initially.

I don't think that l can post the link here, since it is a product, but l can say that it was a Facebook frontpage graphic.

I spent weeks working on it, and the mods over there, (since they have the final say with the price) made it $2.

I have sold 3 to date, so it shows potential, or that the SEO part of their site works, but that is about it.

It was in a saturated area, (since it is easy to do) hence the low price, and occasional sales.

But l tried again and after weeks of effort, was rejected once, made substantial changes, and it was rejected for good.

A tough lesson, but this is the real world, so.....

l am presently almost finished my latest idea, based on Iphone templates or an Iphone image that can have different images in the screen, etc.

Anyone who does this, shows sales of $100 to $150 a month.

But the catch is it is a hell of a lot of work to put together!

But on the positive side, it is the only thing l have found online, (apart from software development) that actually works, or it can be scaled up indefinitely!

Some of the people doing this make up to $50,000 a month, which sounds insane, but if they employ a team of graphic artists to churn out in demand items, then l don't see any reason why it isn't true.

Obviously two different niches should be created as well, so if iphones, are flat, flyers will take up the slack.

If this goes to plan, and l make at least $100 a month, then $10,000 a month within a year, could be possible!

The biggest strength of IM, is if you find something that can be scaled, the sky is the limit, but the downside is, the Internet is massive, and it can take a lot of effort to find opportunities like this.

As said before l have been at this for 5 and a half years, full time, and apart from what l am doing, and probably software development, those are the only opportunities l have found online that work for me.

        Good luck!
