Funny thing happened to my blog (not really)

Maybe I should have said strange as it ain't too funny. Yesterday I lost every post on my blog, fortunately it was a new blog and there were only a half dozen or so articles.

Like a dumb shit, I didn't have a back up system. But oh well. So today i go back to reinstall the articles and I am told "You are not allowed to edit this post."

WTF

How can this be, i am logged in as the admin, there is only one more person who has access and he is my programmer and he sad he didn't do anything.

I sometimes just think, can anything else go wrong? I am just not supposed to succeed at this I guess.

    Depending on your hosting provider you may be able to get it back from one of their daily backups. Contact the support and ask them to restore.

    Clearly something strange happened to the site. In those circumstances I remove everything, including Wordpress, using FTP software if necessary. Then start from scratch with a fresh installation of Wordpress. It isn't worth faffing about trying to fix it.

      I think you may be right. Not sure what faffinc is, but that may just be the right thing to do.
