Area 51 has long been a topic of fascination for conspiracy theorists and paranormal enthusiasts, but newly released CIA documents officially acknowledge the site and suggest that the area served a far less remarkable purpose than many had supposed. ...
Area 51 officially acknowledged by CIA - CNN.com

I'm holding my breath until I see the blatant extraterrestrial coverups that have occurred over the years.

(Infinite space.. And infinite time.. But we're alone? .. And nobody knows anything?)

What's next? The CIA confirms that the Earth isn't flat?

    lolz

When the CIA for many years denies the existence of area 51, but then finally comes out and admits it does exist, why would anyone then believe anything contained in so called declassified documents from the same source?

In answer to your question, pick an answer:

      a. Because we're gullible.
      b. Because we're stupid.
      c. Because we are intellectually lazy.
      d. Because we're brainwashed.
      e. American Idol is on, don't bug me.

Despite the fact you can't really miss it, the existence of Area 51 has never been acknowledged "officially" until recently. But the self-perpetuating hoaxes and stories arising from Area 51 has been perhaps one of the greatest propaganda successes ever from the Cold War, where some of the most advanced aircraft in history have been developed and tested right under the noses of adversaries and allies alike. It has served its purpose well, and there is no longer a need to hide behind the myth of UFOs from outer space. The now famed U-2, D-21 (drone), SR71 Blackbird, B-2 stealth bomber, F-117, F-22 Raptor stealth fighter, etc were all at first denied officially to exist, and public sightings were accepted by default as originating from "outer space" in the mainstream fury of UFO mania.

The US has been developing and testing UFOs for over fifty years in not only Area 51 (just off of Hwy 375, the Extraterrestrial Highway in Nevada), but also other remote detachments such as Edwards Air Force Base and in the city of Burbank in California. The even more secretive Area 52 (Tonopah Test Range), is believed to be the origin of aircraft and unmanned drones with increasingly stunning performance. For example, as recently as the mid-80s, when most of world was still in the dark about stealth technology, local residents saw bat-like UFOs (F-117s) flying overhead almost nightly. Quite frequently such aircraft are mistaken for "extraterrestrial" UFOs. A dramatic crash of a "UFO" was in fact reported in 2008 at Andersen Air Force base in Guam.

Probably not, but there is undeniable evidence of some guy resurrecting a year old thread about it.

Damn, couldn't find the changing shape one, but it is out there?

LiveLeak.com - UFO - 13 miles over Area 51 FULL VERSION filmed by U.S. Military camera

But l did find this, l don't think that this is changing shape, but it does, (if you pause it in the right spots) does show what looks like a module up top connected to a platform below!

Clearly not a Blimp or helicopter, but if this video can be verified as being filmed over area 51, (l would say that this is next to impossible to fake) then it is good proof that the US gov, has successfully developed antigravity!

As usual they don't want to share, probably scared some nutters will put a poor mans nuclear weapon on one of these things and send it to New York?

Yep, apart from this and the other one, pretty boring!

Many years ago in Brisbane after a few beers I can say with certainty for at least ten minutes I watched a UFO change shape in front of me...

...Until a kind Aussie pointed out it was a blimp and the city lights below were illuminating it and the shape was changing as it gently spun round in the light wind.

Drink, bad for you when you don't know what a blimp is.

What I never understand is every UFO video I see is always filmed by someone with pre 1970's video recorder with absolutely no control over whatever shaking illness they have.

I find this with a quick Big G search though I'm not saying it's evidence of anything from Area 51, it's in LA anyway.

Yes, l don't think that this person is holding the camera, but it is probably mounted on a heavy gun torrent, if it is military based.

They used them a lot for filming rockets in the 50's, unfortunately you have to keep correcting to keep this thing, (looks like something out of 2001) central!

Maybe someone should create a new business, around cheap, mini satellite launches using hot air balloons, and a rocket.

Might work, launch a rocket on a platform under a balloon, so it can get out of earth gravity well?

Odd's on some Uni-students are developing this, "On a Wing and a Prayer", might be a good name?

Take some shots of the moons surface for a $1000, and if lucky land on something interesting?

                  Hi Shane,

Nah, that one was filmed with a Canon camera in LA by a guy at work. He said lots of people at work saw it too but that's all it says about witnesses.

Here are some still shots of a cube shape ufo I shot while at work on April 16, 2014 in Los Angeles CA. The UFO hovered slowly above the roof and appeared to change shape while I photographed it. The object was large and seen by various witnesses at my work. I only had my smaller Canon camera but still managed to get some good shots.
                  All the best,

                  The Summoner
Also this guy claims to 'summon' UFO's. That kind of calls into question his sanity a bit. I mean if he could do that, surely he could summon a taxi or a pizza for example.

EDIT. Not saying the video isn't real or the original you saw wasn't Shane. It's just quite a claim by this chap to say he can summon UFO's.

Yes, heard about that, but l heard a group in a remote area, form a circle, and channel their energies to bring one of these things in!

Apparently they can read our minds, which explains why the UFO's do a runner after realising they have an audience?

                    Tin foil hats might help?

But as you are saying, why don't they go to a park in Washington and get one to land there?

Probably because of a deal made with some figureheads!

LOL! They are working on a new "Stealth Blimp", (which is enormous), and other cool stuff. But thanks to wild imaginations and all this silliness effectively cloaking activities at Area 51, business is booming. They develop and test highly classified aircraft. Increased "sightings" continue to self-perpetuate the myth of other-worldly UFOs, originated by "figureheads" as carefully nurtured propaganda initiated during the Cold War.

I have been by area 51 at least 10 times in my life, Never have I seen anything over there. No, I didn't stay long and no I wasn't out there to look at aliens. All though curious what the hype was about. Was just driving threw. (Nearby)

I personally don't have much to say about extraterrestrials simply because it is a topic that could go in so many directions. One thing I do believe, yes, we would have to be pretty close minded to think out of all of the universes and everything. We are the ONLY living things. Even if your religious most religions states there are other planets with other beings.
I shouldn't say "most religions" Because like said, I personally haven't spent a lot of time looking into most religions but I have been curious to learn about a few.

Area 51 is not for aliens. and there are more confidential places in USA that CIA is itchy about.

It's the place where CIA and USA military build and tests unbelievable weapons (those nerve gas staff too), conducts experiments. Military staff the Nazi tried to do and hoped to but in their mistake was doing it open. The trick is to use a BS lie like "national security".

The Americans are not alone !! Russia, UK, India, China and more also has places like this with this much secrecy.
