"Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Timothy McGinty commented on the suicide: “These degenerate molesters are cowards. They con and capture vulnerable children. This man couldn’t take, for even a month, a small portion of what he had dished out for more than a decade."

Well, that's the official story anyhow. Frankly, guys that molest kids don't have a good record for surviving prison. Even others in there for murder (adults) won't tolerate scum that prey on children. I wonder how much help he had suiciding himself. Being put in prison for this type of crime is basically a death sentence even if the court doesn't give you one. Not that once someone is proven to have tortured a child we really care to see them ever on the streets again. I worked in a crisis center and molesters, etc. say themselves that if let out they won't be able to stop. Put someone sick enough to entrap and enslave as well and you have a walking horror story on your hands that's best to be rid of.

If I were the doctor who had to try to save him, I would have had to "recuse" myself from that task.

I find I don't care how he came to die...good riddance to bad rubbish.

I think it will be easier on those young women to know he no longer inhabits the earth.

That was my first thought, too, Kay.

Like Sal, I also wondered if he had help offing himself. It would not surprise me.

I think my FIRST thought went along with Alexa's. I heard the name and was immediately confused about Fidel being in jail and alive until yesterday. Thought I was coming down with some form of dementia. I had to read part of the article to remember what was going on with that one.

He was never going to get out of jail and the women appear to be doing their best to move on with their lives. Though if him hanging himself brings even a little bit more peace to their lives I'm all for it.

I'll admit I'm being selfish when I say I wish he would have suffered terribly in that prison, where the guards would probably find ways to make his life hell.

Good riddance; now back to funneling to targeted visitors and bringing value to people's lives today.
