I am a big fan of Tim Ferriss' work.

He has recently released a huge, free download via BitTorrent. The problem is I am not familiar with torrents, downloading torrents, etc.

I am looking for your recommendations on Web-based torrent downloaders (I think.)

You can see Tim's blog post about his download here.

Thanks for the help.

Ken, I'm looking for a web-based solution. I have most of my e/i-biz on the 'net.

    Thanks,

The only way to recover a torrent file is to have torrent software. So you have to use something like bitTorrent or uTorrent.

I use utorrent and then save the files to a separate partition. From there, I run a virus scanner on the file before opening it or moving it.

You need a client to upload and download. It's peer to peer software, so I doubt you're going to find a browser based one. I've used BitTorrent - Delivering the World’s Content and utorrent. Be very careful what you download from torrent sites. Lots of viruses to be had.
